Airline adds LV flights

Phoenix-based America West Airlines, the second-busiest airline at McCarran International Airport, this morning announced that it would add 12 flights between Las Vegas and 11 cities.
Beginning Oct. 31, the airline will add two new flights to Los Angeles and one flight each to Denver; Minneapolis/St. Paul; Oakland, Calif; Chicago/O'Hare; Portland, Ore.; Seattle/Tacoma; San Jose, Calif.; Salt Lake City; Orange Country, Calif; and Vancouver, British Columbia.
The new flights give America West a total of 133 daily departures from McCarran International Airport to 54 destinations.
