Coalition
The band Coalition will perform at 8 p.m. Monday at the Rainbow Library Ampitheater, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive, as part of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District's "Moonlight, Movies and Music" series. Admission is free. 734-7323.
Music festival
The following musical performances will be held at various locations around the UNLV campus this week as part of the Las Vegas Music Festival. For ticket prices, call 895-1575:
Today, 8 p.m. -- Percussion Institute Concert at the Judy Bayley Theater.
Saturday, 8 p.m. -- Faculty Chamber Music at the Judy Bayley Theater.
Sunday, 3 p.m. -- Las Vegas Music Festival Orchestra at the Artemus Ham Concert Hall.
Gary Queen Trio
Guitarist Gary Queen will team with two top musicians for a night of jazz music at 7 p.m. today at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Admission is $15 general, $10 seniors and children, $7 Guitar and Jazz society members. 455-7340.
Mark Nizer
Internationally renowned juggler Mark Nizer will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway. Tickets are $2 lawn, $3 section C, $5 section B, $7 section A, $10 orchestra. 267-4849.
'Sounds of Summer'
The following groups will perform at The District at Green Valley Ranch Station Casino as part of its "Sounds of Summer" series. All acts are free. 851-3081:
10 p.m. today -- Kenny Levine & Jump, Jive & Wail, performing swing music.
10 p.m. Saturday -- Yacht Club, performing contemporary jazz.
Theater
'Fever!'
The Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV presents "Fever! The Music of Peggy Lee," at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at UNLV's Judy Bayley Theatre. Admission is $30 general, $25 seniors and military. 895-2787.
