Pastel portraits

Nevada wildlife

'Southwest'
Logandale artist S.G. Rich will display his watercolors and oils depicting Native American dances, desert flora and southwest landscapes in "Southwest Visited" during the month of August at the Lost City Museum in Overton. Admission is $3 adults, $2 seniors over 65. 397-2193.
'Organic Intentions'
An exhibit of wood and stone sculpture by artist Nike Nole, "Organic Intentions," runs until Sept. 17 at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. An artist's reception will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the center. Admission is free. 455-8239.

The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at The Venetian is hosting an exhibit, "The Pursuit of Pleasure," which includes such artists as Picasso, Rodin, Rubens, Beckmann and Velazquez.
