Al Aniello

Al Aniello, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1926, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 43 years, he owned and operated Aniello Insurance Agency, he was a World War II Air Force veteran, president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Southern Nevada, he was a member of the Nevada Independent Insurance Agents and the Independent Insurance Agents of Southern Nevada, the Italian American Club, the Y-Not Nite, and the Knights of Columbus, and a former member of the Augusta Society and the Optimist Clubs.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean; three sons, Rick of Las Vegas and Bob and Ron, both of Los Angeles; two daughters, Ann Marie Aniello and Janice Portaro, both of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

A vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Jantzen Luis Kawai Cintron

Jantzen Luis Kawai Cintron, 17, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1986, in Oahu, Hawaii. A resident for seven years, he was a student.

He is survived by his father and mother, Hector Luis and Felomina Catian Cintron Jr., one sister Dejah Blue Kaulana Cintron, and one brother, Bronson Kapono Cintron, all of Las Vegas; her grandfather; and two grandmothers.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be held in Hawaii.

Robert L. Ferloin Sr.

Robert L. Ferloin Sr., 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 3, 1919, in Emporium, Pa. A resident for 26 years, he was a truck driver and an avid guitar player.

He is survived by his wife, Faye; three sons, Richard Ferloin and Robert Ferloin, both of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and Daniel Ferloin of Lockport, N.Y.; two daughters, Deborah Palmeri and Julie Ferloin, both of Las Vegas; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Thursday in Memory Garden Chapel, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, followed by burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Paul D. Fuller

Paul D. Fuller, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 8, 1921, in Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a railroad supervisor, Navy veteran, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one brother, Phillip Fuller of Florida.

Glenn M. Hayden

Glenn M. Hayden, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. Born Dec. 16, 1931, in Bloomfield, Ohio, he was a retired salesman and Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; four daughters, Deanna Dolan of Las Vegas, Tammy Hayden of Reno, Julie Hayden of Escondido, Calif., and Debbie Greenlee of Steubenville, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m Saturday at Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Tristan Brett Howard

Tristan Brett Howard died Thursday, his date of birth, in a local hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Crystal Howard, two brothers, Jacob Taylor and Ryan Wayne, and his grandparents, Candy and Wayne Howard, all of Las Vegas.

Carl W. Johannesson

Carl W. Johannesson, 88, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1916, in Lyndhurst, N.J. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired auto parts dealer, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one sister, Edith Twist of Englewood, Colo.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Richard J. Kirsch

Richard J. Kirsch, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Abington, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a operating engineer and Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Richard B. Kirsch and Stephen Kirsch, both of Las Vegas; his father, Joseph M. Kirsch Jr. of Redhill, Pa.; one brother, James M. Kirsch of Newark, Del.; two sisters, Carol Pisarcik of Souderton, Pa., and Joanne Kirsch Osuch of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Charles L. Lett

Charles L. Lett, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Barnesville, Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was a retired principal and World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annette G.; one son, Robert Lett of San Marino, Calif.; one daughter, Priscilla Lett of Altadena, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Suzanne Gladstone-Machado of Chino Hills, Calif., Jeanne Gladstone-Chapman of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Joanne Gladstone-Bertsch of Lake Forest, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Brad B. Lowder

Brad B. Lowder, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. Born Jan. 15, 1960, in Cedar City, Utah, he was an electrician.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Elizabeth; one daughter, Heather Lowder, and his father, Donald Lowder, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Clint Lowder; and one sister, Joni Rechtstiener.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9:45, followed by 10 a.m. services Wednesday in the LDS Sierra Sunrise Ward. Burial will be in Parowan City Cemetery in Parowan, Utah.

Etta McKelvey

Etta McKelvey, 77, of Las Vegas died Aug. 3 in Las Vegas. She was born April 27, 1927, in Rudyard, Mich. A resident for 41 years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by five children; three sisters; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Antonina Onufrijew

Antonina Onufrijew, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1921, in Kharkov, Russia. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Victor Onufrieff of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 7 p.m. today in St. Paul's Orthodox Church, 5400 Annie Oakley Drive, Henderson.

Clarence E. 'Skeeter' Romans

Clarence E. "Skeeter" Romans, 81, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired ironworker and a member of Iron Workers Local 433.

He is survived by one daughter, Audry Romans of Las Vegas; three sons, Skeeter Romans of Las Vegas, Truby Romans of Henderson and Jes Romans of North Las Vegas; one sister, Shirley Sepe of Inglewood, Calif.; three brothers, Gaines Romans of Henderson, Carson Romans of Las Vegas and Herbert Romans of Overton; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Duke Roseth

Duke Roseth, 50, of Henderson died Aug. 3. He was born Sept. 16, 1953, in California. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by one daughter, Marissa Corbin of Henderson; one son, Eric Roseth of Las Vegas; three brothers, Michael Gonzales of Apple Valley, Calif., Gilbert Gonzales of Ontario, Calif., and Steve Gonzales of Henderson; three sisters, Debra Houck of Hysham, Mont., Stella Barrera of La Habra, Calif., and Susan Worden of Lake Mills, Wis.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Delaney Florence Sasser

Delaney Florence Sasser, 81, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born July 15, 1923, in North Carolina. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Sasser of North Las Vegas, Ralph Wayne Sasser of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Louis Sasser of North Las Vegas; two daughters, Patricia Morgan of Mesa, Ariz., and Nancy Kadolph of Moreno Valley, Calif.; one sister, Pearl MacLachlan of North Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Gildo Anthony Scarano

Gildo Anthony Scarano, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born March 11, 1925, in Cicero, Ill. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired costumer in the motion picture industry.

He is survived by his wife, Oda; one son, Frank Anthony Scarano of Henderson; two daughters, Antoinette Alesia of Las Vegas and Gina Jones of Henderson; two stepdaughters, Odile T. Corso of Encino, Calif., and Monique Vranesh of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Mortuary.

Orson A. Thurston

Orson A. Thurston, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 15, 1941, in Overton. A longtime resident, he was a foreman for a wallboard manufacturer.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bertha; two sons, Steven Thurston of Las Vegas and Paul Thurston of Spanish Fork, Utah; two daughters, Correna D. Cooper and Cynthia Thurston, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Denny Thurston; four sisters, Fern Leavitt, Arlene Jensen, Audrey Roberts and Maxine Ware; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in LDS Elkridge chapel, followed by burial in Mesquite.

Genevieve Isabelle Toohey

Genevieve Isabelle Toohey, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 2, 1918, in Great Falls, Mont. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one nephew, Albert Baxter of Las Vegas.

Marnie Verbofsky, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 14, 1946, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 12 years, she owned and operated a veterinary laboratory.

She is survived by her mother, Ethelee Verbofsky of Las Vegas.

She is survived by one son, Donald Jerome Waller; two daughters, Donna Joyce Waller and Thelma Marie Williams; one sister, Gladys Jarrett; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
