Letter: Drug-enhanced athletics sad
Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004 | 8:58 a.m.
I think it's time to build a Hall of Fame for drug companies that supply drugs of enhancement to professional and not-so professional athletes. At the door they could hand visitors drug enhancements to get them through the exhibits faster.
What a sad day it is when athletes can't depend on their own skills and training to excel in their sport. The need for a quick fix seems to be the norm today. Banishment from the sport should be the consequence for using enhancement drugs.
My America has become one big drug store. Sad, sad, sad.
