Elsie R. Atkinson
Elsie R. Atkinson, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 8, 1926, in Missouri. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Hohnstein, Melanie Mercado and Linnia Call; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Michael Herbert Bailey
Michael Herbert Bailey, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A supervisor, he was born July 8, 1958, in Saginaw, Mich.
He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Bailey of Cedar City, Utah, and Krystal Gauze of Indiana; and his mother, Constance Bailey.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Jay Lewis Botchman
Jay Lewis Botchman, 72, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 6, 1932, in Boston. A resident for seven years, he was a retired financial consultant and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gibbons; two stepdaughters, Geraldine Reback of Las Vegas and Sharlene Pope of Blue Ridge, Ga.; two stepsons, Eugene Minogue of Las Vegas and James Gibbons of Davie, Fla.; one brother, Allan Botchman of Valhalla, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Jack S. Chatterson Sr.
Jack S. Chatterson Sr., 74, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 30, 1929, in California. A resident for 35 years, he was a carpenter, a Navy veteran and a member of Carpenter's Union Local 1780.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey C.; two daughters, Donna Barnhurst and Debbie Schuck, and two sons, Clint Chatterson and Jack Chatterson Jr., all of Henderson; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Gladys Davidson
Gladys Davidson, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 20, 1911, in South Lyon, Mich. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired county government executive secretary.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucinda L. Badillo of Las Vegas; two sons, Ray R. Davidson of Pinckney, Mich., and Wayne C. Davidson of Moore Haven, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling private arrangements.
Margaret Sue Gaylord
Margaret Sue Gaylord, 73, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Lockney, Texas. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeri L. Getty of San Marcos, Calif., Lynn McKenzie of Reno and Kelly R. Gaylord of North Las Vegas; one sister, Dona Epperson of Reno; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Frank James Gianfreda
Frank James Gianfreda, 43, of Las Vegas died July 24 in Las Vegas, and was a lifelong resident,
He is survived by one brother, Lou Gianfreda of Las Vegas; and one sister, Virginia Bickett of Arkansas.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.
Jean E. Halom
Jean E. Halom, 63, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Wisconsin. A resident for 14 years, she was a realtor.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; one brother, Mike Cunningham of Janesville, Wis.; and one sister, Maybel Willman.

Tomi Kamien
Tomi Kamien, 52, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 9, 1952, in Chicago. A resident for 16 years, she was a secretary for the Boy Scouts of America.
She is survived by her husband, Edward F. Jr.; one daughter, Dawn Kamien, and one son, Edward F. Kamien III, both of Henderson; her father, Howard T. Sekikawa of Las Vegas; one sister, Naomi Guitzkow of North Lake, Ill.; and three brothers, Howard Sekikawa of Las Vegas, Kenneth Sekikawa of Carol Stream, Ill., and Richard Sekikawa of Carpentersville, Ill.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the Boy Scouts of America.
Robert W. Keith
Robert W. Keith, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Goodlet, Texas. A resident for eight years, he was a retired liquor store manager, a World War II Army veteran and a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1753.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, Richard Keith of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Robert Bezotte of Overton; one daughter, Susie Johnson of Cleburne, Texas; three sisters, Gene Keith of Fort Worth, Texas, and June Blunt of Dallas and Virginia Hildahl of Seattle.
Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
David McCauley
David McCauley, 48, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1955, in Erie, Pa. A resident for six years, he was a stagehand in the entertainment industry and a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 720.
He is survived by five sons, Michael McCauley of South San Francisco, Patrick Trotter McCauley, Rhett McCauley, Jared McCauley and Kelly McCauley, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Marilyn McCauley of Las Vegas; his mother, Shirley McCauley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two brothers, William McCauley of Las Vegas and Dale McCauley of Wyoming; and one sister, JoAnne McCauley of Wyoming.
A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. today in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Wright Jr., one brother, Frank McIlwain, and one sister, Carla Meckler, all of Las Vegas.

Tom McNeil
Tom McNeil, 61, of Sandy Valley died Thursday. He was born Dec. 27, 1942, in Detroit. A resident of Las Vegas since 1974, and most recently a Sandy Valley resident for 11 years, he was a retired hotel bartender.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen E.; one daughter, Shelly A. McNeil of Las Vegas; one son, Daniel Lee McNeil of Sandy Valley; two brothers, Mike McNeil of Cleveland and John A. McNeil of Mesquite; and one sister, Mary Margaret Janousek of Sandy Valley.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 5 p.m. vigil service Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Clifton C. 'Sonny' Morris
Clifton C. "Sonny" Morris, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 21, 1925, in Enid, Okla. A resident for 66 years, he was a retired cocktail lounge owner and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Janet Morris of Las Vegas; one sister, Lois Demoran of San Diego; and one grandchild.
Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Griffith United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Veronica Dawn Page
Veronica Dawn Page, 45, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was born March 1, 1959, in Boulder City.
She is survived by her parents, Arlene and Ronald Page, one sister, Darlene Cole, and one brother, Pepper Page, all of Henderson.

Jack C. Pleyte Jr.
Jack C. Pleyte Jr., 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired business agent for Teamsters Union Local 631 and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Jack Pleyte III of Las Vegas and Mike Pleyte of Tempe, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Rickey Aaron Schlecht
Rickey Aaron Schlecht, 22, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born April 14, 1982, in St. George, Utah. A lifelong resident, he was a carpenter, an aspiring writer and a 2000 graduate of Mojave High School.
He is survived by his parents, Ricky O. and Mary Dawn Schlecht, and one brother, Anthony O. Schlecht, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Virginia Kells of North Las Vegas and Reena A. Schlecht of Las Vegas; and one niece, Kyndal Denise Kells of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today and one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Mary E. Stevens, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Kentucky. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, John Conrady of Las Vegas; two daughters, Cynthia McCollum of Laughlin and Patsy Farrell of Dallas; one sister, Patsy Smith, and one brother, J.W. Moore, both of Central City, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Camilla Wein
Camilla Wein, 73, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Barnstable, Mass. A resident for 47 years, she was a press operator for the federal government and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
She is survived by three sons, Herbert Curtis Ross of Walla Walla, Wash., James A. McKenzie of Las Vegas and Edward L. McKenzie of Las Vegas; one daughter, Patricia Virnelson of Andersonville, Tenn.; one brother, Jerry Hallett of Bombay, Fla.; two sisters, Jeanette Gallagher of Hyannis, Mass., and Corinne Jones of Barnstable, Mass.; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
