Seniors need help with daily tasks
Thursday, April 29, 2004 | 8:46 a.m.
The Jewish Family Service Agency is looking for devoted people to be a shopper/transportation volunteer who will do grocery shopping or take their assigned senior for a doctor's appointment, visit the lonely isolated person and help with their paperwork, write and/or read mail, or pay their bills.
Volunteers are placed in assignments as close to their home as possible, and after the assignment is accepted, arrangements are made for an orientation.
Call Lorraine at 732-0304.
