Letter: Exciting to see grandson’s photo
Thursday, April 29, 2004 | 9:14 a.m.
I thought it would be interesting to see if your afternoon paper had anything different than the morning Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Well, on April 8, in the business section, there was an article about the defeat of the Wal-Mart store that they wanted to open in Inglewood, Calif. There was a picture of one of the supporters of "No on Measure 4A" celebrating that voters rejected a ballot measure that would have cleared the way for a colossal Wal-Mart in this Los Angeles suburb. I was so excited and surprised to see the picture of my grandson standing to the left of the woman in the picture. The Los Angeles Times had published this picture in their paper, however, the part with my grandson was left out. Needless to say I have shown the picture to all my friends.
Also, I have really been enjoying the editorials and the articles that your paper features.
