Gail Marie Cox

Gail Marie Cox, 45, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was an administrative assistant in the gaming industry and volunteer at Desert Springs Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Stormie Hinkler and Ashlee Hinkler, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Shirley Koss, and one brother, Gary Koss, both of Mesa, Ariz.; and three sisters, Gloria Cerniglia of Las Vegas, Debbie Morrison of Mesa and Denise Nevarez of Guadalupe, Ariz.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ruby Jo Gribben

Ruby Jo Gribben, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in an assisted living home. She was born April 29, 1911, in Tulsa, Okla. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Bill Graham of Las Vegas; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Willy Halpern

Willy Halpern, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in New York. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired sales representative and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Scott; three daughters, Lynn, Jill and Michelle; and three grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Ray Hulsey Jr.

Ray Hulsey Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 9, 1924, in Memphis, Texas. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired brick mason, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Bricklayers & Tilesetters Local 3.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; three sons, Roger Hulsey and Clinton Hulsey, both of Las Vegas, and Richard Hulsey of Henderson; one daughter, Sharon Bruce of Oklahoma City; one brother, Chester Hulsey of Sacramento; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

David Lonston Irwin

David Lonston Irwin, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Phoenix. He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Muncie, Ind. A resident for 20 years, he was an electrical company inspector and a retired Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee; two sons, David Lonston Irwin and Robert Aaron Irwin, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Christina Lee Chau of North Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Marguerite Barbara Tweedie

Marguerite Barbara Tweedie, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 14, 1923, in Utah. A resident for eight years, she was a manicurist, a bed and breakfast owner and a World War II Army veteran and shipyard welder.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Strate, Susan Palacios and Katheryn Lynnette, all of Helper, Utah; two sisters, Gwendolin Holmes and Janet Cassels, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Sixth Ward. Burial will be in Cedar City, Utah.

Clifford LaMar Wahlen

Clifford LaMar Wahlen, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1933, in Utah. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired construction worker and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Joyce; seven sons, Clifford Jr., Gene, Tom, Lenny, Robert, George and Brad; four daughters, Zolene, Vickie, Rhonda and Elaine; two brothers, William and Robert; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
