LV plant gets rare equipment

Sternschnuppe LLC, has received a new Amada EM2510NT. The machine, one of only three in the country, punches designs in sheet metal for parts that are formed later. Sternschnuppe, with a plant at 3325 W. Sunset Road, specializes in electro-mechanical sub-assemblies such as power supplies, harnesses, and ballast assemblies. In addition to general assembly, the company offers services including fiber optic assembly, testing and inspection. The contract manufacturer has another plant in Lake Forest, Calif.
