Coast breaks ground on new casino

Shovels of dirt were turned at the groundbreaking of Coast Casinos newest property, South Coast, on Las Vegas and Silverado Ranch boulevards Thursday. The $350 million project will feature 660 rooms and suites, an 80,000-square-foot casino, nine restaurants, a bowling center and a movie complex. The hotel is set to open in fall 2005.
