Letter: Gasoline prices in perspective
Thursday, April 22, 2004 | 8:44 a.m.
I heard a lady on the radio who put gas prices in perspective. She said in 1951 the price of a gallon of gas was 10 cents. Now, if you do a little math, the price per gallon has risen approximately 4 cents a year.
Wouldn't it be nice if our utility bills only went up that little each year?
