Summerlin to host Earthfaire this weekend

Summerlin is hosting its inaugural Summerlin Earthfaire, a family-oriented Earth Day celebration, Saturday at the Summerlin Centre Community Park.
The event will include a variety of environmental displays, musical entertainment, storytelling, food and children's environmental art and learning activities.
More than 30 nonprofit and environmental organizations will provide environmental educational materials and information for those who attend.
A variety of reptiles and birds will be on display at various booths. Lied Animal Shelter will also be at the event with pets that can be adopted.
The event is free and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 S. Town Center Drive. Call 791-4412.
