Letter: Prayer needed to solve dilemma

No one can predict with certainty the outcome in Iraq. Many believe there is no course of action that leads to peace and the establishing of a democratic society.
It's political sport to point the proverbial finger of blame. What options do we have? More bombs, troops and violence? More politicians making dire predictions?
Isn't this instead a time when Americans of all faiths could join together in a prayer? Each of us might turn to his or her understanding of a divine being and pray earnestly for guidance. How else are we going to find the wisdom and inspiration to heal the strife, division and danger that now define Iraq?
