Myra Jean Argostino
Myra Jean Argostino, 45, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1958, in Los Angeles. A resident for one year, she was a phlebotomist.
She is survived by two daughters, Angelina S. Argostino of Las Vegas and Regina M. Argostino of North Las Vegas; three sisters, Sabrina Hamilton and Valeria Hamilton, both of Los Angeles, and Anita Hamilton of Yakima, Wash.; three brothers, Kenny Hamilton and Michael Hamilton, both of Los Angeles, and Keith Hamilton of Buffalo, N.Y.; and one grandson.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 6 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. An additional service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Pablo O. Crispin
Pablo O. Crispin, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 18, 1934, in Mexico. A resident for nine years, he was a retired professional wrestler.
He is survived by three daughters, Paloma V. Serna of Las Vegas, Esmeralda Oesterling of Orlando, Fla., and Antonia C. Crispin of Las Vegas; two sons, Pablo J. Crispin of Las Vegas and Gilbert J. Crispin of St. George, Utah; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Virginia Dora
Virginia Dora, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1934, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William; three daughters, Debbie Deveroux and Rhonda Steinitz, both of Las Vegas, and Rachel Carlson of Pahrump; two sons, Edgar Jackson of Reno and Ruben Hernandez of New Orleans; two sisters, Irene Sidhu of Sacramento and Yolanda McClure of Las Vegas; two brothers, Arthur Favela and Michael Favela, both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday with a 4 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Melanie Gamett
Melanie Gamett, 28, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1976. A lifelong resident, she was a health care attendant and a Sunset High School graduate.
She is survived by her parents, James and Rebecca Gamett of Henderson; two sisters, Melissa Mecum of Overland Park, Kan., and Mallory Gamett of Henderson; two brothers, James Gamett of Los Angeles and Jeffrey Gamett of Henderson; and her two grandmothers, Venice Bunker of Henderson and Evelyn Gamett of Las Vegas.
Services were scheduled 11 a.m. today in the LDS Wigwam Ward chapel. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Primary Children's Hospital, Salt Lake City.
Billy Hinz
Billy Hinz, 68, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 16, 1935, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired hotel security officer and a Vietnam War Army and Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Plawski; one son, Michael Plawski of Las Vegas; two daughters, Heather Lewis of Austell, Ga., and Anna Taiser of Fresno, Calif.; his parents, Edward and Helen Hinz of Reedley, Calif.; one sister, Jody Travis of Lodi, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
John A. Hostal
John A. Hostal, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A steel industry laborer, he was born Oct. 21, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio.
He is survived by one daughter, Marilyn S. (Hostal) Deisner, and his parents, George and Margaret (Gentile) Hostal, all of Stow, Ohio.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Ohio. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Delores E. Johnson
Delores E. Johnson, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Scotts, Miss. A resident for 40 years, she worked in early childhood education for Divine Providence and worked in the church as an evangelist.
She is survived by three daughters, Natalie L. Johnson, Cynthia Y. Mansaray and Rosalyn J. Johnson, and one son, Kelvin E. Johnson, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Alex Earl of Monroe, La., and Edward Earl and Howard Earl, both of Las Vegas; five sisters, Lavada Johnson of New Orleans, Doretha Robinson and Doris Earl, both of Las Vegas, Kathryn Earl of St. Joseph, La., and Regina Earl of Baton Rouge, La.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Great Commission Interdominational Church, 3329 Coleman St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mark Stephen Lewis
Mark Stephen Lewis, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An automobile salesman, he was born Aug. 23, 1954, in Newport, R.I.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Lewis of Concord, Calif.; one sister, Diana Lewis of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Kevin Lewis of Seattle.

Frank A. Luizzo
Frank A. Luizzo, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 28 years, he was directory of security at a local hotel, a member of Security Chiefs Association and Certified Fraud Examiners.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; two daughters, Ashley Luizzo and Ciara Luizzo, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Anthony Luizzo of Staten Island, N.Y.

Mark Mroz
Mark Mroz, 43, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born March 11, 1961, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 17 years, he was a blackjack dealer at the Klondike casino and a full-time student at UNLV due to graduate in May.
He is survived by one son, Robert Mroz, and his parents, Gerald and Donna Mroz, all of Henderson; two sisters, Therese Hogue and Liz Wilson.
Graveside services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Jimmie Nigro
Jimmie Nigro, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born May 10, 1930, in San Diego. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired broker in the seafood industry and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Katherine Price of Denver and Jane Frank of Livermore, Calif.; two sons, Victor Nigro of San Diego and Jerome Nigro of Las Vegas; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Angelina Olivito
Angelina Olivito, 90, of North Las Vegas died Sunday. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 26, 1914, in Oyster Bay, N.Y.
She is survived by five daughters, Mary Olivito of San Carlos, Calif., Antoinette Wright of Pleasanton, Calif., Nancy Noah of North Las Vegas, Rita Bacher of Syosset, N.Y., and Louisa Bussing of Redwood City, Calif.; one son, John Olivito of Oyster Bay; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Bob Osborne
Bob Osborne, 81, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. He was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Kewanee, Ill. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired chief of security for an automobile manufacturer and a World War II Army and Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three daughters, Nancy Osborne of Seattle, Janet Boykin of Boulder City and Patty Kell of Henderson; three sisters, Lois Bennett and Dee Seyller, both of Kewanee, and JoAnn Granneman of St. Louis; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 5 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
James L. Peters
James L. Peters, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born April 30, 1926, in Clearfield, Pa. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired maintenance man in the chemical industry and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, James Peters of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Suzanne Moody of Las Vegas and Sheila Martin of Kannopolis, N.C.; two brothers, Bernard Peters of Youngstown, N.Y., and Jack Peters of Clearfield, Pa.; one sister, Joy Shaw of Clearfield; and 10 grandchildren.

Anita B. Pirtle
Anita B. Pirtle, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born May 9, 1932, in Walsenburg, Colo. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired executive assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Sterling Wayne; two daughters, Jennifer Vance and Sheri Spurlock, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Greg Shelton of Las Vegas and Ron Shelton of Breckenridge, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Patty Kenyon, and one stepson, Peter Pirtle, both of Las Vegas; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Shelley Ann Punturo
Shelley Ann Punturo, 45, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A waitress, she was born April 10, 1959, in Buffalo, N.Y.
She is survived by one son, Andre, and her mother, Marcia Brooks, both of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Steven Brooks of Las Vegas and Brian Brooks of Watertown, N.Y.

John J. Thome
John J. Thome, 94, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 11, 1909, in Cleveland. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired operating machinist for airplanes and shuttle parts and was a member of Golden Gliders Square Dance group.
He is survived by one daughter, Janice Romanchok of Brunswick, Ohio; three sons, James Thome of Florida, Frank Thome of Canton, Ohio, and Edward Thome of Henderson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
