Law enforcement personnel will serve the local community from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at House of Blues.
Twenty-five volunteers from these law enforcement agencies will become celebrity waiters and will serve drinks and food alongside the regular waiters.

Hearing scheduled on EOB problems
Two federal teams looking into the finances of the Economic Opportunity Board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. today to hear concerns from the community.
The teams are looking into $2.1 million in missing funds from EOB's child-care programs, which direct federal subsidies for child care to poor families. The teams also are looking into problems with EOB's Head Start, a preschool program for disadvantaged children and other issues.
The meeting will be held at Nevada Partners, 710 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
