Streets suffer in neighborhood

My husband and I have lived in the same home since 1964. Our neighborhood is older now, but many are still trying to keep up its appearance. Neighbors new and old try to take care of their property.
When Las Vegas Councilman Michael McDonald took care of this area, all it took was a phone call, and somehow, some way, the problems were addressed and taken care off correctly. The streets in this area were always well maintained.
But now the streets in the neighborhood north of Sahara Avenue between Valley View Boulevard and Arville Street are not being maintained. Instead of repaving, the city drizzles a sealant into the cracks and holes. Every block now looks like a jigsaw puzzle, and parts of the drizzled areas are already breaking loose.
For more than a year now, this area, now overseen by Councilwoman Janet Moncrief, has been given third-rate service. Please, Janet, take care of your area.
