Jose David Abrego
Jose David Abrego, 20, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1983, in California. A resident for 13 years, he was a cook.
He is survived by his parents, Jose Rudis and Rosa Mirian Abrego, and one sister, Leslye Abrego, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Maria S. Artigo and Felis and Teresa Abrego, all of California.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at American Burial & Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
James C. Balazs
James C. Balazs, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. Born Feb. 10, 1918, in Pennsylvania, he was an automotive engineer.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Balazs of Boulder City; one son Gary Balazs of Las Vegas; one sister, Dorothy Balazs of Michigan; and one grandchild.
No services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Gloria Steen Boykin
Gloria Steen Boykin, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Monroe, Louisiana. A resident for 53 years, she was a teacher's assistant.
She is survived by one daughter, Adrianne Long of Atlanta; her mother, Alma Boykin, three brothers, James Boykin Jr., Edward Boykin and Mitchell Boykin, and one sister, Alma Jean Holbert, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams St., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
George H. Brower
George H. Brower, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Strabane, Pa. A resident for 13 years, he was a pipe fitter for a coal mining company.
He is survived by his wife, Julia P.; three sons, William Brower of Oakdale, Pa., James Brower of Spring Hill, Fla, and John Brower of Washington, Pa.; one daughter, Sharon Brower of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Robert E. Clark
Robert E. Clark, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1927, in St. Louis. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired owner of a fire protection equipment company and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Melba J.; one son, Robert P. Clark of St. Louis; one daughter, Deborah A. Sohmer of Houston; four sisters; one brother; and five grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Charles Conely
Charles Conely, 60, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born May 5, 1943, in Norwood, Mass. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired casino shift supervisor and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one son, Timothy Conley of Las Vegas; one brother, James Conley of Norwood, Mass.; and one grandchild.

Frances Pauline D'Onofrio
Frances Pauline D'Onofrio, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 11, 1927, Colusa, Calif.
She is survived by one son, Brian D'Onofrio of Tremonton, Utah; one daughter, Jean Biondi of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handled arrangements.
Ann L. Eckett
Ann L. Eckett, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 12, 1924, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired switchboard operator.
She is survived by one brother, John Lembo of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Curtiss Jancola
Curtiss Jancola, 59, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1944, in Rock Springs, Wyo., he was a retired meat cutter.
He is survived by two sons, Curtiss Jancola of Phoenix and Ronald Jancola of Champaign, Ill.; two daughters, Sandra Hellberg of Parrish, Fla., and Meridith Shobe of Monomet, Ill.; one sister, Donna Miles of Spring Bay, Fla.; one brother, Allen Jancola of Peoria, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Jerry Allen Krause
Jerry Allen Krause, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1941, in Montana. A resident for 13 years, he was a bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Nola Krause of Las Vegas; two daughters, Tina Louise Allen of Las Vegas and Lorna Edes of Williams, Ariz.; one sister, Marylou Wilhelm of Montana; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Penelope Ann Loretto
Penelope Ann Loretto, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Detroit. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired bar manager.
She is survived by three sons, Randy Hawkes and John Loretto, both of Las Vegas, and Ronny Hawkes of Hemet, Calif.; two daughters, Gina Hawkes and Jennifer Coppola, her mother, Rosemary Loretto, and one sister, Jo Loretto, all of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 11 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Francis Arthur Madsen
Francis Arthur Madsen, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for nine years, he was a clothing salesman.
He is survived by three daughters, Judith Kyser of Las Vegas, and Carole and Doris; one son, Donald; one sister, Rose Marie Walsh of New York; two brothers, Ted Madsen of New York and Sonny Madsen of Texas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St. Mass was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road.
George K. Manoogian
George K. Manoogian, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Granite City, Ill. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired laborer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon L.; four sons, Roy Manoogian of Phoenix, Steve Manoogian of Irvine, Calif., Tim Manoogian of Seoul, Korea, and Pat Manoogian of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Carol Manoogian of Oxnard, Calif., and Holly McDaniel of Anza, Calif.; two brothers, Edward Manoogian of Los Angeles, Calif., and Norman Manoogian of Palo Alto, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and one grandchild.

John Butler Miller
John Butler Miller, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Roff, N.J. A resident for 40 years, she was a customer service manager, Air Force veteran, and a member ITPA of the United Way.
He is survived by one son, John B. F. Miller of Princeton, N.J.; one sister, Betty Harris of Stratford, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Anthony Quinn Mosely
Anthony Quinn Mosely, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1957, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, he was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; one stepdaughter, Diane Perry, one son, Lamar Patterson, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Betty Jo Mosely of North Las Vegas; one brother, Roxell Mosely Jr. of Spokane, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
William Edward Perlman
William Edward Perlman, 81, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born May 21, 1922, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he worked for the aerospace industry, he was an Army and Air Force veteran, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Civitan International.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; one son, Philip Perlman of Las Vegas; two daughters, Laurel Kegel of California and Robin Markham of New Mexico; two brothers, Martin Perlman and Larry Perlman of Denver; two sisters, Lennie Betes of Dallas and Frances Perlman of Denver; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
An open house will be held at the residence Saturday. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Ronald P. Raiche
Ronald P. Raiche, 61, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1942, in Lynn, Mass. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired secondary school educator, and a member of Desert Chapter Order of Eastern Star and current master of F&AM Lodge 37 in Boulder City.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two daughters, Jennifer Gonzalvez of Redding, Calif., and Jacquelyn Curl of Boulder City; one son, Ronald Raiche Jr. of Carson City; three brothers, Paul Raiche of New Hampshire and Jerald Raiche and Richard Raiche, both of Massachusetts; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services were scheduled at St. Andrew Catholic Church and Boulder City Masonic Temple this morning. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Sotero Ramos-Valadez
Sotero Ramos-Valadez, 59, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1944, in Henderson. A resident for 30 years, he was a casino porter and was a member of Culinary Local 226.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; one daughter, Melissa Gibson of Provo, Utah; six sons, Edmundo Ramos, Sotero Ramos and Hector Ramos, all of Downey, Calif., Julian Ramos, Ricardo Ramos and Maximino Ramos, all of Henderson; one brother, Crispin Ramos of Henderson; four sisters, Socorro Ramos, Lupe Ramos, Genoveva Ramos and Rosa Ramos, all of Mexico; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Tauheedah Sabree
Tauheedah Sabree, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 8, 1913, in Alto, La. A resident for two years, she was a restaurant and grocery store manager.
She is survived by two daughters, Addie Lawson and Lillie Mae Lawson, both of Las Vegas; one son, TL Lawson of Monroe, La.; one brother, Reacy Gains of Miami, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be in Louisiana.
