Betty L. Bordeaux

Betty L. Bordeaux, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 26, 1935, in St. Louis. A resident for 4 1/2 years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by two sons, Andre Bordeaux and Dalton Bordeaux, both of Fairfield, Calif.; two daughters, Marji Bordeaux of Los Angeles and Yvette Williams of Las Vegas; four sisters, Edna Mae Long, Delores Smith, Johnetta Madison and Linda Hutchinson, and one brother, LeDon Hutchinson, all of St.Louis; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Frances Brody

Frances Brody, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A retired secretary for a magazine, she was born Feb. 7, 1918, in New Jersey.

She is survived by one son, Michael Feder; and one sister, Mae Bumpus.

Walter Thomas Chiappetta

Walter Thomas Chiappetta, 69, of Las Vegas died Sept. 11 in Las Vegas. A security officer, he was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Hawaii.

He is survived by one sister, Nellie Springfellow of California.

Charlie M. Gamage Jr.

Charlie M. Gamage Jr., 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Vienna, Ga. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired Air Force staff sergeant and Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ellie Mae; three sons, Ronnie Gamage of Florida and Charles L. Gamage and James L. Gamage, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sharon K. Marshall and Joy L. Gamage, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Edith D. Gammage of Florida; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Andrew Luke

Andrew Luke, 41, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 18, 1961, in Dominica. A resident for four years, he was a tile setter.

He is survived by his wife, Prudence Tuitt-Luke; his father, Oliver D. Luke; his mother, Decimer Joseph; three sons, Jahreim Jahmari Luke, Andre Luke and Emanuel Luke; two daughters, Jahreima Jahmilah Luke and Andrea Luke; 10 brothers, Myron, Bobby, Willard, George, Colvar, Davie, Charles, Gillson, Tyron and Darnell; and two sisters, Annie and Diane.

Jeanne B. McAneney

Jeanne B. McAneney, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 19, 1921, in Illinois. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker, a den mother for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and an altar guild and choir director. She is survived by two sons, William and Dwane H. II; two daughters, Carla Weber and Claire Dobbs; 11 grandchildren; and two grandchildren.

Roy Erling Olsen

Roy Erling Olsen, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1949, in New York. A resident for five years, he was a U.S. Postal Service clerk and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his mother, Myrtle; and one sister, Tina.

Vada Wayne Perkins

Vada Wayne Perkins, 42, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 24, 1961, in Los Angeles. A resident for 27 years, he was a cook.

He is survived by his fiancee, Mellany Farmer of Las Vegas; two sons, Skye Wooten of Louisiana and Pierre Cooper of Las Vegas; his father and stepmother, Hollis and Betty Perkins of Las Vegas; two brothers, Anthony Perkins of Louisiana and Hollis of Michigan; five sisters, Michele Stubblefield, Martha Ann Clark and Erica Perkins, all of Las Vegas, Rhonda of Philadelphia and Falana of Mississippi.

Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services. A private burial will follow.

Clarence Curtis Smith

Clarence Curtis Smith, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 4, 1924, in Lake Charles, La. A resident for 44 years, he was an engineer for EG&G, an auto shop owner and an Army veteran.

He is survived by five sons, Clarence Smith Jr., Willie R. Smith, Charles L. Smith, Pastor Ronnie Smith and Edward M. Smith, and six daughters, Mary Smith-Wheaton, Patsy Smith-Cole, Rosie Nell England, Carolyn Faye Smith, Zelda Diane White and Sandra Michelle Smith, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Sandy Smith Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., McKinley Smith of Monroe, La., Phillip Smith of Las Vegas and Nathaniel Smith of Rayvelle, La.; two sisters, Ella Dixon of Monroe and Geneva Smith-McNeal of Las Vegas; 50 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Friday followed by a wake from 6-8 p.m. at Tried Stone Baptist Church, 621 W. Carey Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Theresa Wadsworth

Theresa Wadsworth, 102, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 19, 1901, in Alamo. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Lois Higbee and Nedra Shumway, both of Alamo, Vera Thomas of North Las Vegas and Sharon McCall of Las Vegas; one son, Charles Wadsworth of Alamo; 23 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the Alamo LDS chapel. Graveside services will follow in Alamo Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Daniel H. Zimmerman, M.D.

Daniel H. Zimmerman, M.D., 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 43 years, he was a physician and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, Scott Zimmerman of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
