Wheelchair group to host benefit
The Nevada chapter of the Wheelchair Foundation will present a celebration of giving when it hosts One Good Turn "Chair"-ity Show at 6 p.m. Sunday in the Imperial Palace's Showroom.
One Good Turn will feature a performance by magicians Ayala and Tanya and musical acts Cynthia Del Rio, Grace and Outasight. The show will also have performances by dance artist Jessica Leon and comedians the Stooges of Las Vegas.

Colonial Bank of Nevada
will sponsor a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at five United Blood Services locations: 4950 W. Craig Road; 3935 E. Charleston Blvd.; 601 Whitney Ranch; 10170 S. Eastern Ave.; and 6930 W. Charleston Blvd. Call 233-9620.
The North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce
will recognize police, fire, EMS, and Nellis Air Force Base at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Texas Station. Admission is $35; $30 for members with reservations. For more information, call 642-9595.
