Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and St. Rose Dominican Hospital tied as the top consumers' choice hospitals in the Las Vegas area.
The National Research Corp. in Lincoln, Neb., surveyed about 760 households in the Las Vegas Valley about their preference for household health care. More than 140,000 people were surveyed nationally. The error margin of the survey is plus or minus 3.6 percent.
This is the first time St. Rose Dominican, which operates Siena and Rose de Lima campuses in Henderson, was selected for the award. This is the eighth consecutive year Sunrise was selected. Las Vegas was the only area surveyed in Nevada.
