Letter: Iraq war just a personal vendetta
Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 | 9:23 a.m.
I hope I'm wrong but to me the war in Iraq looks like it's a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein by George W. Bush, because Saddam wanted to kill his daddy. Where are the weapons of mass destruction? How many more members of our military forces are going to be killed there?
The Iraqi people don't want us there -- they hate the United States. We are no longer liberators, but occupiers.
After 58,600 Americans were killed in Vietnam, someone said enough is enough. I think it's time to say enough is enough in Iraq.
