LV passenger count down

Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport said it served 3.242 million passengers in August, a decline of .2 percent from August 2002.
The decrease was attributed to a 1 percent decline in business at United Airlines and the absence of flights this year by National Airlines, which shut down last November.
This August, market leaders Southwest, America West and Delta all reported increases compared to August 2002.
