Vera M. Bullock

Vera M. Bullock, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Texarkana, Ark. A resident for 58 years, she owned Ruben's and Ruben Bullock's West Side Story.

She is survived by one daughter, Annise Bullock, and one son, Mycus Simons, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Hallean Love of California; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Bruce E. Champlin

Bruce E. Champlin, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 23, 1947, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a Secret Service agent.

He is survived by one son, Bruce E. Champlin Jr., and his parents, Wilcox Borden and Dorothy (Hatton) Champlin, all of Tennessee.

Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Blake Edward Chase

Blake Edward Chase, 20, of Las Vegas died Sept. 7 in Las Vegas. A laborer, he was born Dec. 26, 1982, in Redlands, Calif.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Chase of Trinidad, Calif.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Trinidad. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

W.L. 'Bill' Creech

The family of W.L. "Bill" Creech, 76, of Henderson, who died Aug. 26, will have a local memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nellis Air Force Base Chapel. Out-of-town visitation is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 23 in Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, Va. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sept. 24 at Langley Air Force Base Chapel, Hampton, Va. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 25 at the memorial chapel in Fort Myer, Arlington, Va., followed by the interment service at Arlington National Cemetery.

Addie B. Dunlap-Harris

Addie B. Dunlap-Harris, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 42 years, she retired f Las Vegas Hilton laundress.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two daughters, Ashia Harris and Lawanda Harris, and two sons, Kenneth Dunlap and Darrell Dunlap, all of Las Vegas; her father, Harry Dunlap of Tallulah; five sisters, Marjorie Meredith of Shreveport, La., Wanda Dunlap, Sarah Dunlap and Veronica McCurdy, all of Austin, Texas, and Shirley Hardy of Fort Worth, Texas; six brothers, Frank Dunlap, Norman Dunlap, Sam Dunlap and Burl Dunlap, all of Las Vegas, Larry Dunlap of Tallulah and Donald Dunlap of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Additional services and burial will be in Tallulah.

Alice Espinoza

Alice Espinoza, 90, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 26, 1912, in Lumberton, N.M. A resident for 60 years, she was a retired real estate company owner.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hinds of Henderson and Alice Jean Espinoza of Las Vegas; one brother, William Peisker of Henderson; two sisters, Lili Fletcher and Bette Jo Peisker, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Mariela Garcia

Mariela Garcia, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 27, 1942, in Colombia. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Luz Olarte, and one son, Julio Olarte, both of Las Vegas; her parents, George and Delores (Urvena) Garcia; four brothers, Adolfo Garcia of Chicago, Lope Garcia and Fredy Garcia, both of Providence, R.I., and Juan Garcia; six sisters, Soledad Benavides of Providence, Betriz Garcia and Clair Garcia, both of Colombia, Christina Mercado of Florida and Amparo Parraga and Nelia Rios, both of Australia; and one grandchild.

Ralph Goldsmith

Ralph Goldsmith, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired bookkeeper.

He is survived by one brother, Harold Goldsmith of Henderson.

Earl Herman

Earl Herman, 69, of Searchlight died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for 19 years, he was a bailiff.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna.

Gordon Edward Hether

Gordon Edward Hether, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1941, in LaCrosse, Wis. A resident for 34 years, he was the retired owner of Barley Pop's Tavern and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Paul Michael Hether and Grant A. Hether, both of Las Vegas.

Trent Richard Hitcho

Trent Richard Hitcho, 27, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 23, 1976, in Pennsylvania. A resident for five years, he was a night club bartender.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Barbara (Miereczko) of Monongahela, Pa.

Helen Jaeger

Helen Jaeger, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 13, 1935, in Los Angeles. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Morrie; one son, Mitchell Jaeger of Boulder City; three sisters, Rita Tennes, Robin Deutch and Gloria Tracey, all of California; and one grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James Edward Johnson

James Edward Johnson, 73, of Las Vegas died Sept. 8 in Las Vegas. A dealership parts manager and a retired Army veteran, he was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Geovana; one daughter, Ruth J. Covington of Fayetteville, N.C.; and two grandsons.

Angeline Lalli

Angeline Lalli, 91, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Bagnoli, Italy. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired tailor.

She is survived by one daughter, Vera Couture of Henderson; one son, Anthony Lalli of Santa Fe, N.M.; one brother, Monsignor Carlo Pietravalle of Rome; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park.

John Peter Lamm

John Peter Lamm, 44, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 23, 1959, in Minnesota.

He is survived by one son, John Tyler Lamm of Las Vegas; and his mother, Jean Lamm of Phoenix.

A memorial service will be 1:45 p.m. Sunday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Alfred Leblanc

Alfred Leblanc, 72, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 23, 1931, in Canada. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired Pestaway pest control agent and an employee at the Greater Nevada Manheim Auto Auction.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two stepdaughters, Cindy Crowder of Houston and Linda Hawley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main.

Marvin W. Mannon

Marvin W. Mannon, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Toulon, Ill. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant, a Navy veteran and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances A.; three sisters, Sharon Leninger, Marlene Wilson and Arlene Hayes; two sisters, Darlene Huggins and Sharon Flanagan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

John Frances McHugh

John Frances McHugh, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1919, in Philadelphia. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran, a civilian personnel manager for the Air Force and a member of the Excell program at UNLV.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle McHugh of Las Vegas; two sons, Nuey McHugh of Henderson and John Michael Hugh of Florida; one sister, Alice Durham of New Jersey; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

James O. Mudd Sr.

James O. Mudd Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Springfield, Ky. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired senior captain for the Las Vegas Fire Department, was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran, a longtime member of AA and a volunteer at St. Rose de Lima Hospital.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis M. Mudd of San Diego and James O. Mudd Jr. of Las Vegas; two brothers, Francis Leon Mudd of Texas and William Cletus Mudd of Lebanon, Ky.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Francisco Daniel Repreza, 37, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 16, 1965, in El Salvador. A resident for two years, he was a laborer.

He is survived by his father, Daniel Castro, and his mother, Amada E. Repreza, both of El Salvador; and one sister, Blanca Maribel of Tucson.

Gloria Jean Rosenberg

Gloria Jean Rosenberg, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 18 years, she was a real estate agent.

She is survived by one daughter, Regina Walker of Las Vegas; one son, Gavin Walker of New York; and two grandchildren.

Mary Spotto

Mary Spotto, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. A retired retail manager, she was born Dec. 27, 1918, in Utica, N.Y.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Kramer and Autumn Kramer, both of Las Vegas, and Theresa Cassese of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and one son, David Kramer of Las Vegas.

Robert J. Wittwer

Robert J. Wittwer, 47, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 28, 1955, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a lath operator for a titanium producer and a member of the United Steel Workers Union.

He is survived by two daughters, Natasha Wittwer of Henderson and Ashley Wittwer of Pasadena, Calif.; two sons, Robert C. Wittwer and Zachery Wittwer, and his parents, Clifford and Kola Wittwer, all of Henderson; two brothers, Kevin Wittwer of Leverkin, Utah, and Kelly Wittwer of Henderson; and one grandchild.
