Two California companies have formed a partnership that will market events at the defunct All-American SportPark in Las Vegas.
Adventure Studios, Burbank, headed by Donald Bredberg, and Global Casino Marketing, Westlake Village, led by Larry Steinberg, have formed Elite Entertainment, which will market events at the attraction at Sunset Road and Las Vegas Boulevard South, recently renamed Sports Center Las Vegas.
Adventure Studios was awarded a two-year contract to manage the center owned by Las Vegas owner Urban Group of Nevada. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Steinberg said today that Elite would schedule a number of activities at the two-level, 90,000-square-foot complex, which has a 3,000-seat arena. The company envisions playing host to small meetings, team-building events, private concerts, boxing matches and other sporting events, fashion shows and memorabilia and trading-card shows. Four events scheduled prior to the formation of the partnership are planned at the center.
He said the new company also is considering developing a nightclub at the center.
Steinberg and Bredberg are sharing chief executive responsibilities of Elite and plan to use Steinberg's 20 years of experience in casino marketing to attract groups of players to parties and events at the center.
