Letter: Not so certain limiting growth would hurt a lot

In your Aug. 29 editorial, you stated that, "If the rest of the county adopted Boulder City's no-growth policy, however, the area's economy would grind to a halt and suffer irreparable damage."
Would you kindly back up your glowing generality by stating the facts that are behind your statement?

I will admit that if you quit building houses, jobs would be lost. But have you ever visited a major construction site? A good number of vehicles used by the craftsmen have out-of-state plates
