Huston E. Brown

Huston E. Brown, 63, of Las Vegas died Aug. 26 in Las Vegas. A hotel porter, he was born June 27, 1940, in Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Nina; two daughters, Brendal Brown and Janice Brown, one son, Hutis Brown, two brothers, John L. Brown and Luther G. Brown, and three sisters, Gladys Smith, Eddie J. Finks and Marjorie Sargent, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in First African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2450 Revere St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Neta Cadenhead

Neta Cadenhead, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 11, 1918, in Oklahoma. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three children, Linda, John and Viva; and 10 grandchildren.

Esther F. Colling

Esther F. Colling, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Hopper of Las Vegas, Janice A. Savage of Midland, Mich., and Margaret E. VanEpps of Seffner, Fla.; one son, George A. Higgs Jr. of Conway, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

William S. Combado Sr.

William S. Combado Sr., 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1934, in Inarajan, Guam. A resident for eight years, he was a retired police officer.

He is survived by two daughters, Juliemarie Salas of Las Vegas and Mae Camacho of Texas; two sons, William S. Combado Jr. of Las Vegas and Steven Combado of Victorville, Calif.; four sisters, Agnes Santa Lucia, Julia Villanuvea, Mae Lucero and Elsie Rivera, all of Reno; three brothers, Roland Combado of Sun City, Calif., Charles Combado of Las Vegas and John Combado of Gardenia, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Larry W. Davidson

Larry W. Davidson, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1941, in California. A resident for 36 years, he was an animal control officer.

He is survived by two sons, Monty and Ben; one daughter, Trish; his mother, Anita Davidson; one sister, Judith Balker; and one grandchild.

Anthony F. DiStefano Sr.

Anthony F. DiStefano Sr., 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1924, in Boston. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired land developer, a member of Knights of Columbus and Sierra Club.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; two sons, Liberato "Libby" DiStefano of Chestnut Hill, Mass., and Anthony "Chuck" DiStefano Jr. of Los Angeles; three daughters, Joan Marie Distefano of Los Angeles, Denise DiStefano of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Lisa-Annette DiStefano of Truro, Mass.; two sisters, Carol DeLorenzo of Medford, Mass., and Yona Campedelli of Watertown, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charlene Baumert Kell

Charlene Baumert Kell, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1942, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident, she was a published author and photographer and past president of the Nevada Camera Club.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford W. Kell; and two brothers, Gary Baumert of Prescott, Ariz., and Dennis Baumert of Sacramento.

Theresa Johnson

Theresa Johnson, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1922, in New Kingston, Pa. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired communications clerk and a World War II Army veteran.

She is survived by one sister, Margaret Tomkiewicz of New Kensington, Pa.

Spiros Kouris

Spiros Kouris, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 1, 1951, in Corfu, Greece. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired clothing manufacturer.

He is survived by his father, Anastasios Kouris, two brothers, George Kouris and Konstantinos Kouris, and one sister, Dora Hart, all of Las Vegas.

Edwina Louise Lust

Edwina Louise Lust, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 10, 1933, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 40 years, she was a waitress.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Lust and Bruce Lust, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Cynthia Gana of Henderson and Maria Vickers of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Jerry Jankowski of Warwick, N.Y., and John Jankowski of Iowa; one sister, Sheila Call of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Amber Marie Malmarowski

Amber Marie Malmarowski, 29, of Castaic, Calif., and Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A property manager, she was born Aug. 12, 1974, in Wisconsin.

She is survived by her husband, Heath; and her parents, Linda (Grosenick) and Rohald Wright of Wisconsin.

Alfred N. McClellan

Alfred N. McClellan, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Pontiac, Mich. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired schoolteacher and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; one daughter, Dawn Ralston, and one son, Alan McClellan, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Patsy O. Moore, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1934, in Washington state. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Moore of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Moser, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, she was a parking checker.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ed; one son, Steven Edwin Moser of Prescott, Ariz.; one daughter, Melanie Panzo of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Marilyn Jean Nauenburg

Marilyn Jean Nauenburg, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Nebraska.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Kohley and Diane Luciano, and one son, Clifford Allen Nauenburg, all of Nevada; two sisters, Bobbie Stark of Idaho and Connie Wells of Nebraska; and seven grandchildren.

Jeanne M. Ozimek, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday. She was born July 15, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for 21 years, she was a night auditor for a local hotel, a Navy veteran, a member of Dutch Oven Club and Polka Busters.

She is survived by one son, Dennis P. McNamara; three daughters, Susan Russell, Sally Jo McNamara and Kelly McNamara; one brother, D. Jim McNamara; one sister, Colleen Hartney; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Edward T.; one son, Michael Wharton of Bethlehem, Pa.; and one brother, Dennis Wilczewski of Jacksonville, N.C.

Norma M. Rolof, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 1, 1908, in New York City. A resident for eight years, she was a retired sales representative for a retail clothing chain.

She is survived by her friend, Yolanda V. Cheney of Las Vegas.

Frank Rubalcaba Sr.

Frank Rubalcaba Sr., 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1937, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired factory shipping manager and an Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Terri Romero of San Jose, Calif., Margaret Rubalcaba-Empronto of Henderson and Frankie Ann Rubalcaba of Las Vegas; one son, Frank J. Rubalcaba Jr. of Henderson; three brothers, Emilo Rubalcaba of Santa Monica, Calif., and Tony Rubalcaba and Fernando Rubalcaba, both of San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Debbie Miramontes of San Jose; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Sherman Smith, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 16, 1941, in Cannelton, Ind. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired architect.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; one son, Todd Smith of Brownwood, Texas; one daughter, Nicole Hill of Early, Texas; his mother, Thelma Smith of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Billy Smith of Clarksville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammie Douglas of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dorothy and Elizabeth, both of Erie, Pa.; five brothers, Fred of El Paso, Texas, Bob of Florida and Butch, Jimmy and Tom, all of Erie; and two grandchildren.

Art Stellerine, 89, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local convalescent hospital. A retired aircraft inspector, he was born March 12, 1914, in Du Bois, Pa.

He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Yost of North Las Vegas; and one son, Natale Arthur Stellerine of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Elizabeth Ann Stojack, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Murphysboro. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Navy Anchoretts Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, William Stojack; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Alan W. Sullivan, 52, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Alexandria, La. A resident for 20 years, he was an auxiliary operator for the power company and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; two sons, Derek Sullivan and Aaron Sullivan; and his parents, Fred A. and Mary G. Sullivan.

Noi Tofuri, 51, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Khon Kaen, Thailand. A resident for 14 years, she was a casino change person.

She is survived by her husband, Tuffy; one daughter, Leita Wolski of Florida; two sons, Nick Tofuri and Christopher Tofuri, both of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Margie D. Ward, 73, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Lancaster, Calif. A resident for four years, she was a retired actress.

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy MacGillivrey, and one sister, Marilyn King, both of San Pedro, Calif.; and one son, Stacy Tenney of Charlotte, N.C.

Betty Mae Webb

Betty Mae Webb, 54, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 16, 1949, in St. Joseph, La. A resident for more than 30 years, she was a hotel guest-room attendant.

She is survived by one son, Gregory Webb of North Las Vegas; four brothers, Robert Webb of North Las Vegas and Frank Crump, Charles Webb and Johnny Crump, all of Los Angeles; and five sisters, Kizzie Walker of Los Angeles, Margaret Lilly of Clarksville, Tenn., Lois Crump and Dorothy Crump, both of New Orleans, and Mary Alice McCormick of Atlanta.

Charles M. Weck, 73, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born June 7, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was a retired electrician, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A.; one daughter, Tina Howard of North Las Vegas; four sons, Louis Sorrentino and Anthony LaMantia, both of Henderson, Dominic LaMantia of Downers Grove, Ill., and Ben LaMantia of Cicero, Ill.; two sisters, Lori Hugenot of Lansing, Mich., and Beverly Tennyson of Pendleton, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
