Winter watering scheduled to start

Winter watering restrictions go into effect Saturday, reducing watering schedules to one assigned day per week through February, the Southern Nevada Water Authority says.

The restrictions are part of mandatory drought watering schedules.

Customers who are not sure which watering group they are assigned to may call their water provider, go to the Water Authority website, snwa.com, or call the Conservation Helpline, 258-SAVE.
