Emilio Cunanan

Emilio Cunanan, 59, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 13, 1944, in the Philippines. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired casino bartender.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Josh Cunanan and Matt Cunanan, both of Henderson; three sisters, Gina Maradiaga, Carmen Phillips and Celia Ullery, and one brother, Benny Cunanan, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Barbara J. DeSutter

Barbara J. DeSutter, 80, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Detroit. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker and a Coast Guard veteran.

She is survived by three daughters, Michele Calder of Las Vegas, Pam Hammitt of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Barbara Lee Bryant of Riverview, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will be private.

Dennis Hall

Dennis Hall, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for six years, he was born Feb. 5, 1943, in Glen Cove, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Islandia, N.Y., and Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Oyster Bay, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

C. Nancy Harrison

C. Nancy Harrison, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for 24 years, she was born April 28, 1937, in Bangkok, Thailand.

She is survived by two sons, Roger Harrison and Paul Harrison, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday with noon services at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Helen Elmina Jacobson Jytyla

Helen Elmina Jacobson Jytyla, 94, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1909, in Sandy Township, Minn. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired supervisor and examiner in the garment industry, a member of the Clark County Genealogical Society and Rebecca's Lodge and a former member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Helen Smith of Henderson; one son, Arthur Jytyla of Rosemount, Minn.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ralph H. LaDue

Ralph H. LaDue, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 6, 1940, in New York. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired security officer and a member of the Elks for 35 years.

He is survived by his mother, Hilda N. LaDue; one brother, Richard C. LaDue of California and Mary Patnor of Florida.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Celia Leideger

Celia Leideger, 83, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 30, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Joann Leideger, and one son, James Leideger, both of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Donald P. Mullen

Donald P. Mullen, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Marysville, Kan. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired civil engineer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; six daughters, Peggy Lean, Kathy Cleaver of Newport Beach, Calif., Donna Maynor, Janelle Collard, Diana Mullen and Connie Hall; one son, Michael Mullen; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert J. Poole Sr.

Robert J. Poole Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 13, 1932, in Newellton, La. A resident for 40 years, he was a laborer for the federal government, a Mason and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; seven daughters, Sondra Carter, Jacquelyn Smith, Rosa Morrison, Karren Morrison, Troy White and Wanadra Morrison, all of Las Vegas, and Catherine Purryea of Newellton; 12 sons, Leon Morrison, Danny Morrison, Larry Morrison, Richard Morrison, Ronald Morrison, Milton Morrison, Bryant Morrison, Jimmy Earl, Demetrius Earl, Robert Poole Jr., Ronnie Roach and Ray Earl, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Willie McTear of California; 31 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Anna Marie Pryor

Anna Marie Pryor, 45, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born May 24, 1958, in California. A resident for nine years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by her companion, Michael Dougherty of Henderson; two sons, Brian Pryor of Chandler, Ariz., and Dustin Kopperman of Henderson; one daughter, Jennifer Kopperman of Henderson; her mother, Janet Pryor, and one sister, Annette Pryor, both of Chandler.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Titus T. Ranson

Titus T. Ranson, 20, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 28, 1983, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a warehouseman for a retail store.

He is survived by his companion, Lakeitha Tobin, one son, Tyler Ranson, and his mother, Samella Ranson, all of Las Vegas; his father, Billy Johnson of California; one brother, Jaylen Neal, his grandparents, Donald McCormick, Katie Ranson and Rose Johnson, and his great-grandmother, Ida Perkins, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in God's Plan Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Safora Saif

Safora Saif, 79, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Afghanistan.

She is survived by one son, Faridoon Saif of Henderson.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Westminster, Calif. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

James Smith Jr.

James Smith Jr., 78, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Pickens, Ark. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired hotel-casino supervisor and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maria C.; four daughters, Bama Jean Wells, Jamie Davidson and Regina Young, all of Las Vegas, and Dorothy Woodbridge of Atlanta; two sons, Jimmy Lee Smith of Detroit and Fernando Ceasar of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph McFee of North Las Vegas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Rachel Zeljeznjak

Rachel Zeljeznjak, 18, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 22, 1984, in Munster, Ind. A resident for 13 years, she was a Centennial High School graduate.

She is survived by her father, John Zeljeznjak, her mother, Catherine Ratelle, and one sister, Laura Zeljeznjak, all of Las Vegas; her grandparents, Dorothy Shellabarger of Las Vegas, Zlata Miles of Whiting, Ind., and Harley F. Miller of Bellingham, Wash.; and her great-grandmother, Grace Fredericks of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
