A Chicago-based television and film production company has acquired a Las Vegas TV and video production operation, the companies announced today.
Century Productions, Las Vegas, was acquired by CMX Productions and has become CMX/Century Productions. Terms were not disclosed.
Mike Levy, former owner of Century Productions and now president of CMX/Century Productions, said all of the company's 20 employees will continue on with the newly formed company.
Levy said CMX/Century would expand within six months as the company plans to produce more sports and entertainment content, including feature films. Century's production of content for cable networks Travel Channel, Discovery and TLC will continue, Levy said.
Among Century's staples are production of four different sports handicapping shows for USA Network and Fox.
