Antinio Alvarran
Antinio Alvarran, 75, died Friday in Caliente. He was born June 13, 1928.
He is survived by one daughter, Rosalba Prince of Caliente.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Caliente. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
David D. Ashley
David D. Ashley, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Los Angeles. A resident for 28 years, he was a Vietnam War Army veteran, a member of the American Contract Bridge League who won two national bridge events and was one of the top 50 master point holders in bridge in the United States.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Emily Buttle
Emily Buttle, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1931, in Harvey, Ill. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired cafeteria manager from the Clark County School District and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons, Joseph Buttle and Donald Buttle, and one daughter, Eileen Sechrist, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Paula Collins of Chicago and Toni Duensing of Denver; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Wisdom Byzantine Catholic Church, 2120 Lindell Road. Graveside services will follow at noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the Family Home Hospice, 1701 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 102, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Geraldine Card
Geraldine Card, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Valley City, N.D. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired legal secretary.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Dodge of Yucca Valley, Calif.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Magdalene M. Daniels
Magdalene M. Daniels, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Altheimer, Ark. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by six sons, Harry C. Daniels, Reggett Daniels, Wallace Daniels, Brian C. Daniels, Jesse George and Michael Moore, two daughters, Pamela J. Randolph and Sandra D. Daniels, three brothers, Cleodus Murray, L.H. Hurray and Alfred Murray, and five sisters, Bertha Robertson, Betty Jean Williams, Betty Jean Gilmore, Shirley Meeks and Peggy Murray, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1117 N. F St.
Roy A. Freberg
Roy A. Freberg, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 24, 1923, in Minneapolis. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired dealer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, William Freberg of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cynthia Ericson of Seattle; two brothers, Kenneth Freberg and Donald Freberg, both of Palm Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Lorrain Barkshire and Helen Davis, both of Seattle; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Donald W. Fritz
Donald W. Fritz, 74, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Zanesville, Ohio. A resident for six years, he was a retired retail director of food operations.
He is survived by his wife, Rosaline M.; three daughters, Rebecca J. Handel of Henderson, Janet E. Fritz of Dallas and Constance D. Nelson of Arvada, Colo.; his mother, Edith M. Fritz of Zanesville; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Betty Lois Gallant
Betty Lois Gallant, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Ohio. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry McKinley and Christine Mayfield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Eloise Leilani Kamalii
Eloise Leilani Kamalii, 69, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1934, in Hilo, Hawaii. A resident for three years, she was a retired state government child protective services aide.
She is survived by four daughters, Jowette Padua of Pahrump, Susan Brown of Hilo, Judy Kamalii of Waimea, Hawaii, and Sherry Santos of Nevada; two sons, Richard Kamalii of Hilo and Ronson Kamalii of Sarasota, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothea Kish
Dorothea Kish, 64, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. An insurance company secretary, she was born Aug. 19, 1919, in Illinois.
She is survived by one daughter, Alberta Hensley of Las Vegas.

Joseph T. Kubiak Jr.
Joseph T. Kubiak Jr., 55, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1948, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for three years, he was a contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Edie; and two sisters, Ann Wasiuk of North Grafton, Mass., and Carol Beland of Worcester.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Edgar McAllister Jr.
Edgar McAllister Jr., 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1940, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he owned a barber shop, was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, Ed McAllister III; one daughter, Shelly Kulezsa; his mother, Wanda McAllister; two sisters, Sydnee Smith and Janet Gillins; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11:20 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
George Harold Morgan
George Harold Morgan, 60, of Portland, Ore., died Oct. 17 in a Portland care center. He was born June 25, 1943, in Spokane, Wash. A former Las Vegas resident until several months ago, he was a retired GTE lineman and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Tom Morgan and Glen Morgan; two daughters, Cassie Ridgeway and Georgine Muntz; one brother, Gene Morgan; and one sister, Gail Vawter.
No local services are scheduled. Family Memorial Mortuary, is handling arrangements.
Michael Lewis Nava
Michael Lewis Nava, 49, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 22, 1954, in Denver. A resident for 30 years, he was a radiology technician, a casino employee and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Rosales, and his mother, Mary Lou Nava, both of Las Vegas; his father, Louis Nava of Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters, Judith Barnes and Luanne Wagner, and one brother, Jerry Lutz, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the LDS Central Stake Center, 1101 N. Pecos Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family prefers no flowers.
Harlan L. Nelsen
Harlan L. Nelsen, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Devils Lake, N.D. A resident for 63 years, he was a retired service manager in the boating industry and a veteran of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Eldean; one daughter, Pamela Sinclair of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert Nelsen of Las Vegas and Martin Nelsen of Henderson; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Max Patrick
Max Patrick, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1935, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired electrician and welder who erected local neon signs and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol Smokey of Las Vegas; two brothers, Carmen Patrick and Michael Vasquez Sr.; two sisters, Loretta Fixel and Leona Gordon; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Additional visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. -11:59 p.m. Tuesday at the Paiute Indian Reservation. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Paiute Cemetery.

Jean Pelan, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born June 28, 1932, in Lapinto, Ark. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker
She is survived by her husband, Michael; one daughter, Jill Gragson of Las Vegas; one son, David Williford of Salem, Ore.; one brother, Joe Sanders of Hardy, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

She is survived by one son, Ralph G. Rose Jr. of Las Vegas; three brothers, Gilbert Toffel of California, Arved Toffel of South Dakota and Merlyn Toffel of Illinois; one sister, Jackie Meyer of Texas; and two grandchildren.

Rita Westfall, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Philadelphia. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired airline food service employee.
She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Ann Gandee of La Plata, Md., Carol Tymowczak of Falls Church, Va., Roberta Jean Dean-Westfall of Charlotte, N.C., and Linda Marie Riddiough of Clemmons, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
