Ensign featured at Big Brother event
Big Brothers Big Sisters and Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., will be honored at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada's fifth annual black tie fund-raising event at 6 p.m. Saturday in Caesars Palace's Ballroom.
Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., will serve as honorary dinner chairman for the event.

100 Black Men will host Halloween ball
One Hundred Black Men of America Inc. will hold a Halloween masquerade ball from 8 a.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 Water St.
There will be set-ups and food for sale.
Tickets are $20. No money at the door.

Sun City schedules 14th annual fair
Sun City Summerlin will hold its 14th annual Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd.
The fair will feature more than 90 vendors, offering hand-crafted items such as quilts, jewelry, seasonal decorations, crafts made from wood, ceramic, glass and much more.
Food will be offered for sale and parking is free.
