Monday, Oct. 27, 2003 | 11:07 a.m.
Boyd Gaming Corp. today announced that it has expanded its board of directors and that Veronica Wilson and Luther Mack were elected as new directors.
Wilson is the former chief executive of the Aladdin hotel-casino and is now chief executive of the Blind Center of Nevada, a group offering services and programs for people with visual impairments.
Mack owns 10 McDonald's restaurants in Northern Nevada and had been chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission. He resigned from that post today because of his appointment to the board of Boyd, which hosts boxing matches.
