Letter: Arnold won’t do better than Davis
Friday, Oct. 24, 2003 | 9:34 a.m.
I agreed with the letters in Sunday's Las Vegas Sun that criticized President Bush and California's Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Sometimes I think President Bush is trying to destroy the United States. If that's his goal, he is doing a real good job. I wish we could recall him. As letter-writer Gilbert Eisner said, California Gov. Gray Davis wasn't nearly as bad as the president.
And what makes Arnold think he can do better than Gov. Davis did? I really agreed with letter-writer Daniel Olivier, who warned Californians to prepare for major economic and environmental problems now that Arnold has been elected governor.
