A 25-year-old man was killed this morning after crashing his pickup truck into the back of a tractor-trailer on Craig Road and Rancho Drive, Metro Police said.
The 2002 Freightliner, driven by 57-year-old Michael Miko, was stopped at a light on Craig Road about 4 a.m. when a speeding 1999 GMC pickup truck rear-ended the tractor-trailer, police said.
The driver of the pickup was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died. The Clark County coroner's office had not released his name this morning.
It is the 93rd traffic death in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
