Letter: Siegfried, Roy deserve accolades

I searched out your Web page to find more information regarding the tragic injury to Roy Horn. I must say I was very touched by your editorial on Oct. 7. I think you hit the nail right on the head regarding the greatness and purity of these two men as entertainers.

I am reading so much about how animals shouldn't be performing, etc., etc., etc. It is a shame more news people do not look at facts before writing, as you have obviously done.

I have followed Siegfried & Roy for many years and am well aware of their relationship with their animals and the steps they have taken throughout the years to preserve various species.
