Olivia Banks
Olivia Banks, 86, of Las Vegas died Sept. 20 in a local hospital. Born Aug. 19, 1917, in Wells, Miss., she was a resident for 15 years.
She is survived by two sons, Don L. Dabney of Las Vegas and Larry Banks of North Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Paul Vincent Bellini
Paul Vincent Bellini, 59, of Las Vegas died Aug. 25 in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 26, 1943, in New Jersey. A resident for 14 years, he was a caterer, Air Force veteran, and a member of Culinary Local 256.
He is survived by his mother, Antonina; and one brother, Victor L. Bellini.

Dene R. Boyd
Dene R. Boyd, 66, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 28, 1937, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired airline pilot and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; one daughter, Linda Boyd Springer of Richfield, Minn.; two sons, Brian Boyd of Minnetonka, Minn., and Jeffrey Boyd of Aspen, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday in Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggest donations to the Green Valley Lutheran Church, 1799 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV 89014, or to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Stephen E. Brooks
Stephen E. Brooks, 48, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 1955, in Lynwood, Calif. A resident for 36 years, he was a Golden Gate hotel porter and a member of Bartenders and Culinary Local 226.
He is survived by his mother, Dorthie Abel, one brother, John Edward Brooks, and one sister, Victoria E. Brooks-Sutton, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service was scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Anna Rita Bross
Anna Rita Bross, 102, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. She was born July 5, 1901, in New Jersey. A resident for 21 years, she was an interior decorator.
She is survived by one daughter, Betsy Kellner of Henderson; one son, Albert L. Bross of New Vernon, N.J.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
William P. Dorr
William P. Dorr, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. Born Nov. 25, 1943, in Connecticut, he was a bartender and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Kristie Howard of Las Vegas; and one son, Michael Dorr of Del Ray Beach, Fla.
Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Ben Hailpern
Ben Hailpern, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1932, in Denver. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired freight line maintenance supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Arvajune; three daughters, Marcia Weiser of Salina, Kan., Traci Hailpern of Chicago and Carrie Brin of Denver; three sons, Scott E. Hailpern, Dan Brin and Don Brin, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Denver. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Temple Beth Am Building Fund, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV 89134.
Elmer J. 'Sarge' Hallock
Elmer J. "Sarge" Hallock, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 26, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 41 years, he worked for the Nevada Test Site and was a retired Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Maureen L. Olden and Margaret A. Linacre, both of Las Vegas, and Audrey K. Simonetti of Ohio; three sons, Michael J. Hallock of Las Vegas, Charles E. Hallock of Reno and Daniel K. Hallock of Missouri; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens.
Jeremiah V. Keating
Jeremiah V. Keating, 69, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Port Chester, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired school district supervisor, Korean War Army veteran and a former volunteer fire chief for Purchase Fire Department in New York.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; three sons, Jerry Keating of Las Vegas, Dennis Keating of Pahrump and John Keating of Henderson; one daughter, Marie Sierra, and one sister, Eleanor Horton, both of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Rosalind Dee Marino
Rosalind Dee Marino, 66, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born June 13, 1937, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Albert J.; two daughters, Pamela Marino Urbaniec of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Cynthia Marino Poser of Henderson; one son, Dr. Allen Thomas Marino of Henderson; one brother, Richard Allen Cannon; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Services will be at noon Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 111 N. Torrey Pines, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Toshiko K. Primrose
Toshiko K. Primrose, 76, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Yokohama, Japan. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Toshiko Primrose of Las Vegas; two sisters, Tamako Aoyama and Ayako, both of Japan.
Visitation will be noon until 3 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Baldomero Ingan Yacas
Baldomero Ingan Yacas, 94, of Las Vegas died Sept. 25 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1909, in the Philippines. A resident for one year, he was a retired maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Aquilina; three sons, Victor J. Pelona, Misael J.P. Yacas and Baldo A. Patterson; two daughters, Ruth P. Fernandez and Irene Patterson; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
