Friday, Oct. 3, 2003 | 10:19 a.m.
Tonight could be a big night for the UNLV women's soccer team, as the Rebels are not only hosting the highest ranked women's team to ever play at Peter Johann Field, its also "Break the Attendance Record night."
UNLV entertains No. 3-ranked UCLA at 7:30 pm, marking the first time the Rebels have ever played a top-five opponent.
UNLV is also attempting to set a new attendance record at the game. The record is 1,117, set Oct.14, 1999, against BYU.
Team poster flipcards will be available for fans, and the team will be signing autographs after the game.
The Rebels bring a 6-4-1 record into the game, and will be taking on a Pac-10 opponent for the second time this season.
UNLV previously beat Arizona 2-0 on Sept. 27.
The team will be looking to its defense, as the Rebels have posted five shutouts on the year, including three in the last five games.
Leading the Rebels is junior midfielder Annii Magliulo, who has seven goals and two assists for 16 points.
