Sport: Volleyball
Currently: Gonzaga is not enjoying a successful season thus far, but VanMeetren is making the most of her senior season. VanMeetren ranks third for the Bulldogs in kills (91) and total attempts (253). She has also recorded 54 digs, 10 blocks, and six service aces. VanMeetren is one of the Gonzaga leaders in points, ranking fourth with 102.5. She finished fourth on the team in kills last season.
Looking back: A four-year volleyball letterwinner for Bishop Gorman, VanMeetren led the Gaels to a second place finish in the state tournament in her final season. VanMeetren, an honor roll student at Gorman, earned Sunset Division MVP honors as a senior, as well as being named to the all-tournament team in the 4A state playoffs. VanMeetren was a two-time all-Sunset pick for the Gaels, and she also lettered two years for the basketball team.
