Hilda M. Artiga

Hilda M. Artiga, 24, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 18, 1979, in El Salvador. A resident for seven years, she was a food preparer.

She is survived by one son, David Villela, and one daughter, Heidi Andrea Corado, both of Las Vegas; her father, Romeo of El Salvador; her mother and stepfather, Hilda and Jonathon Goeking; and two sisters, Deysi Artiga and Dina Artiga, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be noon Wednesday in Garden Memorial. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Bruce Bark

Bruce Bark, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born July 5, 1933, in Berea, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was a retired engineer for an automobile manufacturer, a Korean War Army veteran, a mentor for the Clark County School District and an English tutor through Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Russell Bark of Oklahoma City, Kenneth Bark of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Donald Bark of Troy, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Carrie Calderone

Carrie Calderone, 41, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born May 10, 1962, in North Miami Beach. A resident for one year, she was a private investigator.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Samantha Diane Cooke, her mother, Judy Calderone, both of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Jean Calderone.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Victor Louis Campaniello

Victor Louis Campaniello, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1936, in New York. A resident for 18 years, he was a taxicab driver and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; one son, Edward, and one daughter, Agnes Sottile, both of California; one brother, Alfonse Campaniello of New York; one sister, Connie Peterson of Florida; and three grandchildren.

Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.

Louis F. Casados

Louis F. Casados, 77, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1926, in All Creek, Colo. A resident for 12 years, he was a truck driver, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Erik.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Victoria Casados of West Covina, Calif., Theresa Hidalgo of Fontana, Calif.; two sons, Michael Casados of LaPuente, Calif., James Casados of Henderson and John Casados of Las Vegas; five sisters, Mary Black and Mary Ann Bastian, both of Corona, Calif., Helen Gomez of New York City, Ruth Prosser of Las Vegas and Margaret Woods of Henderson; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Isabella Rose Downs

Isabella Rose Downs, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Corning, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a retired teacher's aide in the public school system.

She is survived by one son, Phillip Lee Voorhees of Las Vegas; two sisters, Josephine Douglas of Florida and Joyce DeMarboreux of Arizona; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Private services were arranged by Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Lois M. Gardner

Lois M. Gardner, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A retired surgical nurse, she was born June 4, 1930, in Tyler, Texas.

She is survived by three daughters, Sabrina Dixon, Renita McQuaid and Tanya Viner.

Visitation is scheduled 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Leroy Steve Gonzales

Leroy Steve Gonzales, 41, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A painter, he was born Oct. 7, 1962.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya; his parents, Pauline and Sam Gonzales; and one daughter, Candice Gonzales.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Angelina M. Hayward

Angelina M. Hayward, 89, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1914, in Colton, Calif. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper and a member of Royal Neighbors of Henderson.

She is survived by two daughters, Cookie Sclafani of Henderson and Rosemary Santo of Las Vegas; three sons, Thomas Prato of Las Vegas, James DeMaio of Chino Hills, Calif., and Jody Funkhouser Jr. of Lancaster, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Prato of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mary Sarzotti of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; one brother, Tony DeMaio of Highland, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a noon Mass Wednesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Additional visitation and services will be in Loma Linda, Calif.

Ron Moore

Ron Moore, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 25, 1948, in Elkhart, Ind. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpenter and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Mike DeJaynes of Scottsburg, Ind., and Mark DeJaynes of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cindy McAllister of Clovis, N.M.; two sisters, Marlene Moore of Portland, Ore., and Char Hardy of Pueblo, Colo.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. today in Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, 6500 W. Flamingo Road. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Dortha May Ouellette

Dortha May Ouellette, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Marion, Mo. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Mae Ritter of Las Vegas and Patricia L. Core of Cherryvale, Kan.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be Monday in California.

Carol Bella Qureshi

Carol Bella Qureshi, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 24, 1945, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Las Vegas Country Club.

She is survived by her husband, Nawaz; four brothers, Frank Bella, Joe Bella, Peter Bella and Jim Bolognese, all of Las Vegas; and three stepdaughters.

Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Patrick L. Terrell

Patrick L. Terrell, 35, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 5, 1968, in Schulenburg, Texas. A resident for five years, he was a member of the Board of Realtors and played local baseball.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Newton of Missouri City, Texas; his father, James Terrell of North Las Vegas; and one brother, James Terrell Jr. of Houston.

Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services and burial will be in Texas.

Thomas Joseph Trosclair

Thomas Joseph Trosclair, 40, of Boulder City died Friday in Boulder City. He was born Jan. 28, 1963, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a plumber.

He is survived by one son, Thomas Trosclair Jr. of Yuma, Ariz.; one daughter, Thera Trosclair, and his mother, Valerie McCulley, both of Leeds, Utah; his father, Fleming Trosclair of New Orleans; four sisters, Judy Cascone and Trudy Shakespear, both of St. George, Utah, Teresa Norris of Glendale, Utah, and Annie Burgess of Salt Lake City; and his grandparents, Ruby Warr of Leeds and "Cowboy" Trosclair of Lockport, La.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at the Best Western Lighthouse Convention Center, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Pete Valenzuela

Pete Valenzuela, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1911, in Las Cruces, N.M. A resident for 11 years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Samueli of Newport Coast, Calif., and Gloria Samueli of Las Vegas; one son, Jerry Valenzuela of Orange County, Calif.; one brother, Vincent Valenzuela of New Mexico; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Randall C. Willey

Randall C. Willey, 83, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Fulton, Ky. A resident for 26 years, he was a machinist for Honeywell Inc. and a World War II Army veteran who served in the Philippines and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

He is survived by one daughter, Carole Andrews of Las Vegas; and one brother, Earl Willey of Mobile, Ala.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Francis Lee Wissmann

Francis Lee Wissmann, 61, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. A mechanic, he was born April 25, 1942.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; three sons, Dan Wissmann, Michael Wissmann and Tim Wissmann; and one daughter, Kelly VanArsdale.

Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
