Starbucks collects gifts for children

The Starbucks Holiday Angels Toy Drive, in which gifts will be collected for seriously ill hospitalized children served by Starlight Children's Foundation, runs through Dec. 25.

Drop off new, unwrapped gifts at any Starbucks retail location for distribution to local hospitals. During the holidays, Holiday Angels "giving" trees are adorned with gift tags printed with toy suggestions on display at Starbucks.

Nevada ChildSeekers

will be doing free fingerprinting of children from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, 9791 S. Eastern Ave., at Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Parents keep the fingerprint cards to help police identify their child if the child is ever missing. For more information, 458-7009.
