ROANOKE, Va. -- The Las Vegas Wranglers peppered goaltender Jason Wolfe with a season-high 50 shots, but could not end their winless streak as the Roanoke Express posted a 4-2 victory Wednesday at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The Wranglers fell to 9-4-3 with the loss but maintained first place in the ECHL Pacific Division.
The Wranglers, 0-3-1 on their six-game road trip, found themselves in a 3-0 hole two minutes into the second period Wednesday despite registering 20 shots against Wolfe in the first period. Dave Cousineau got two power-play goals for the Wranglers.
