Fredrick 'Don' Bruton

Fredrick "Don" Bruton, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Olton, Texas. A resident for eight years, he was a retired Navy personnelman, a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and an owner-operator of a travel agency.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene "Dee"; four daughters, Carol Maloney of Paisley, Fla., Connie Kraft of Winter Garden, Fla., Brenda Rodeghier of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Janice Frasier of Ocoee, Fla.; two brothers, Lee Bruton of Hayden Lakes, Idaho, and Ray Van Bruton of Waller, Texas; one sister, Janice Irgang of Yucaipa, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Leanna Rose Chadwick

Leanna Rose Chadwick, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 24, 1918, in Longmont, Colo. A resident for 60 years, she was a retired school office manager.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Richardson of Las Vegas; one son, John Chadwick of Bellevue, Wash.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Gertrude Cramer

Gertrude Cramer, 100, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1903, in Philadelphia. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a juvenile furniture business and a member of the sisterhood and seniors club at Temple Beth Sholom.

She is survived by four sons, Walter Cramer of Philadelphia, Herbert Cramer of Las Vegas, Donald Cramer of Los Angeles and Kurt Cramer of Henderson; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Andrew Henry Percy Federson

Andrew Henry Percy Federson died Friday, his date of birth, in a local hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Christina R. Federson.

Winnie A. Gamache

Winnie A. Gamache, 84, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Williston, N.D. A resident for two years, she was a retired retail clerk for a lumber company.

She is survived by three sons, Gene Gamache of San Francisco, Don Gamache of Henderson and Dave Gamache of Woodside, Calif.; four sisters, Edna of North Dakota, Leona of Washington state, Julie of Nevada and Patsy of Minnesota; one brother, George of North Dakota; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Prestige Assisted Living, 1050 E. Lake Mead Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jimmy Griffin

Jimmy Griffin, 67, of Boulder City died Oct. 24 in Boulder City. He was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Tennessee. A resident for several years, he was a bartender and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Lebron Griffin; and two sisters, Virginia Lett and Carol Griffin.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Barbara A. Hennagan

Barbara A. Hennagan, 68, of Las Vegas died Nov. 12 in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1935, in West Columbia, S.C. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; three daughters, Pamela Hennagan, Angela Counce and Joyce Hennagan, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Aaron Hennagan Jr. and Fritz Hennagan, both of Las Vegas, and Thomas L. Hennagan Jr. of Sacramento; two sisters; five brothers; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 600 Arrowhead St., Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

John Robert Hovel

John Robert Hovel, 66, of Boulder City died Nov. 10 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for 33 years, he was a distributor for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

He is survived by five sons, John Hovel, Jerry Hovel, Jeff Hovel and Jay Hovel and Eric Hovel of Las Vegas; one daughter, Karen Nawrocke of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Marie Olive Kanae

Marie Olive Kanae, 58, of Henderson died Nov. 11 in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 24, 1945, in Honolulu.

She is survived by three daughters, Shawnalison Kanae of Seattle, Karen Kanae of Anderson, Ind., and Rebecca Palko of Las Vegas; one son, Logan Kanae of Henderson; one sister, Mary Ann Chun of Nanakuli, Hawaii; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the LDS Warm Springs Stake Center, 7670 S. Bruce St. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ioane Keehu

Ioane Keehu, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Honolulu. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Air Force senior master sergeant and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bungon; two daughters, Leinaala Keehu-Scott of Las Vegas and Hokunani R. Keehu of Italy; one son, Robert P. Keehu of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Annie Mendes-Friatis of Honolulu; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services are private. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Walter A. Kozielek

Walter A. Kozielek, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A supervisor in the field of electronics, he was born April 24, 1931, in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Betty Lee Kirk Lamping

Betty Lee Kirk Lamping, 66, of Las Vegas died. She was born March 7, 1937 in McKees Rocks, Pa. A resident over 40 years, she was first employed by the Clark County School District and then at the Continuing Education Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She was a past president of the Junior Mesquite Club, volunteered for the Assistance League, Secret Witness Program, School Bell Program, St. Viator's Building Committee, Frank Lamping Elementary School Reading Improvement Committee, and was assistant conference coordinator of the Western Regional Middle Level Consortium.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Frank Lamping; children Kirk and Sharena Lamping and Clark and Bonnie Lamping of Las Vegas; one sister, Janet Cannon of Pittsburgh; and grandchild Jared.

A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Cathedral, 366 Cathedral Way.

Mark Lawrence

Mark Lawrence, 25, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1978, in Las Vegas. He was a truss designer.

He is survived by his parents, Tim and Doris Touchstone of Las Vegas; three brothers, Michael Lawrence of Overton and Thomas Touchstone and Joseph Touchstone, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Tinisha Selvy of Tacoma, Wash., and April Laswell and Monique Touchstone, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Joseph Lawrence of Las Vegas, William Sanford of Hesperia, Calif., and Judy Mallis of Hawaii.

Robert Vincent Lind

Robert Vincent Lind, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 16, 1927, in La Crosse, Wis. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired grocer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Gary Robert Lind of Las Vegas; one daughter, Gail Bernhardsen of Tacoma, Wash.; three brothers, Carl, Lester and Eugene, all of La Crosse; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Joseph H. Manning Sr.

Joseph H. Manning Sr., 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1921, in South Carolina. A resident for 41 years, he was a casino porter and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Cleather; seven sons, Joe Washington and Milton Manning, both of Los Angeles, Steven Ellerson, Ronnie Criner, Terry Criner and Timothy C. Manning, all of Las Vegas; and Joseph H. Manning Jr. of California; five daughters, Teresa Bias, Brendalyn Daniels, Zioila Manning, Cleather B. Manning and Tiffany C. Manning, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, James Manning of California and Theadore Manning of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mary Livingston and Elenor Jones, both of California; 36 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pearl Lee Marion

Pearl Lee Marion, 70, of North Las Vegas died Nov. 12 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Minter; two daughters, Geraldine Randolph and Evelyn McKiness, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Perry Davis and Rufus Hyde Jr., both of Las Vegas, and Victor Hyde of Los Angeles; one stepson, Tim Marion of Reno; two sisters, Jessie M. Denson and Jessie Bell Zellus, and one brother, Elbert Lee Henry, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1117 F St. Burial will follow Friday in Palm Memorial Park.

Thomas John O'Roarke

Thomas John O'Roarke, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 27, 1943, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 30 years, he was an elementary school principal for the Clark County School District, an Army veteran and past bishop and stake president for the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley; one daughter, Amy Rhodes, and two sons, Timothy Joseph O'Roarke and Bryan Rhodes, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the Cheyenne Avenue and Mustang Street LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Gene A. Sparks

Gene A. Sparks, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 5, 1936, in Edinberg, Texas. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired Showboat hotel operating engineer for 41 years.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; three daughters, Treva Spencer and Glenda McBride, both of Las Vegas, and Regina Causey of Henderson; one son, Perry Sparks of Las Vegas; two sisters, Christine Lowe and Patricia Weaver, both of Porterville, Calif.; one brother, Ben Sparks of Oroville, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Helen Lorraine Steele

Helen Lorraine Steele, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 16, 1919, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 47 years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Joann Lanier, and one son, Bill Blackard, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Billie Charles Thomas

Billie Charles Thomas, 76, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1927, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired computer programmer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Mae; one son, Geoff Thomas of Las Vegas; one stepsister, Vera Price of Tennessee; two stepbrothers, Henry Romero of San Diego and Joseph Romero of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.

Dean B. Tiller

Dean B. Tiller, 67, of Laughlin died Saturday in Laughlin. He was born Feb. 5, 1936, in Dallas. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired booth cashier for the Edgewater hotel, a counter with TES and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; four sons, William Bolt Tiller, Joshua Tiller, David Dankle and Benjamin Dankle; two daughters, Diana Kelly and Fawn Nichols; and five grandchildren.
