Cafe event will help Shade Tree
Panera Bread bakery-cafe and the Shade Tree Shelter will hold a special charity day event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at 5130 S. Fort Apache Road, to benefit the shelter.
A $10 donation at the door to benefit the Shade Tree, a shelter for women and children, will allow the patrons to sample everything on the cafe menu. Eighteen varieties of bread are baked fresh daily and menu items include sandwiches, hand-tossed salads and soups served in sourdough bread bowls.

Hanukkah Bazaar scheduled Sunday
The Women's League of Temple Beth Sholom will hold annual Hanukkah Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the temple, 10700 Havenwood Lane.
More than 30 vendors will offer collectibles, Mah Jongg sets, limited unique jewelry and purses, custom and hand designed stationery, skin care products, namesake plaques, infant and children clothing, special priced photographic equipment, and artistic and hand crafted gift items.
Gift wrapping will be available to make shopping and gift giving easier.

A Thanksgiving program
will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. The program will offer stories, games, jokes and a special holiday craft. Call 633-1070.
Chabad of Green Valley
will hold a marriage and intimacy workshop from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Chad Center, 10870 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 104. Call 897-0770.
