Woman arrested in stabbing death

A 44-year-old Las Vegas woman was arrested and charged with murder with a weapon after a domestic violence disturbance call brought Metro Police to a townhouse in the 300 block of South Durango and Alta drives Saturday.

Patrol officers arrived about 8 p.m. and found a 50-year-old man dead from a stab wound, Lt. Tom Monahan said.

Police arrested Carol LeDone and took her to the Clark County Detention Center.

Police received several 911 calls reporting screaming and a violent disturbance.

The victim's name was not available this morning until family members could be notified, the coroner's office said.

The official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner after an autopsy.
