‘Revolutions’ heading to Luxor IMAX

Let the "Revolution" begin.
"The Matrix Revolutions," the third and final film in the "Matrix" series, opened nationally Wednesday in thousands of standard-size theaters. The film will also play in 60 IMAX screens worldwide, including Las Vegas.
"Matrix Revolutions" opens Nov. 26 at Luxor IMAX Theater.
It is the first time a live-action Hollywood film will debut in both conventional and IMAX screens on the same day.
The conversion process is made possible by IMAX DMR technology, which converts standard 35mm film into the IMAX format without compromising picture quality and clarity.
"The Matrix Revolutions" represents Imax's largest DMR release yet. In June, three weeks after its premiere at conventional theaters, "The Matrix Reloaded" opened in 39 Imax theaters. Last year, "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones," opened in 58 Imax theaters.
Both films played at the Luxor's IMAX Theater.
