Patricia Cabrera Aflague

Patricia Cabrera Aflague, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 9, 1951, in Guam. A resident for three years, she was a retired public school teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Juan C.; three daughters, Tanya Aflague-Concepcion and Lawryce R.C. Aflague of Las Vegas.

Services will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Ashlee Bicknell

Ashlee Bicknell, 15, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1988, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her father, Mohammed Kohistani; her mother, Catherine Chavez; two brothers, Zobair Kohistani and Samir Kohistani; one sister, Felicita Hernandez, and her grandparents, Catherine and Andrew Jackson and Shah Kohistani, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Charles 'Larry' Blackard

Charles "Larry" Blackard, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1939, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired sheetmetal worker and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Starr Petersen, one son, Brent Blackard, one brother, Bill Blackard, one sister, Joann Lanier, and his companion, Carol Perby, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Joseph M. Bondi

Joseph M. Bondi, 82, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired newspaper linotype operator, a World War II Army veteran and was a member of several senior bowling leagues in Boulder City.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; one daughter, Mary Miller of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Joseph Bondi of Moreno Valley, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert L. Broomfield

Robert L. Broomfield, 85, of Granbury, Texas, died Monday in Granbury. He was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Purcell, Okla. A former Las Vegas resident from 1990 to 2000, he was a retired machinist.

He is survived by three daughters, Anna R. London of Pineville, La., Bonnie M. Zimmerman of Long Beach, Calif., and Roberta Lynn of Sanger, Calif.; two brothers, Luther Brumfield of Pampa, Texas, and Russell Brumfield of Purcell; three sisters, Lillian Woods of Lexington, Okla., and Wanda Williams and Louise Matthews, both of Purcell; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Ivo Jackson Donald

Ivo Jackson Donald, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A foreman for Southern California Edison, he was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; seven children, Terry Donald of Nashua, N.H., Christine Dorothy of Sherwood, Ore., Casey Donald and Susan Holmes, both of Riverside, Calif., David Donald of Camarillo, Calif., Toby Donald of Sache, Texas and Quintin Donald of Las Vegas; one brother, Carr Donald of McLean, Va.; one sister, Patricia Thorson of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Elk Ridge Ward, Tule Springs Stake, 7500 Tule Springs Road. Graveside services will be in California. Neptune Society of Nye County, 720 S. Buol Lane, Pahrump, is handling arrangements.

Jeffrey H. Dorman

Jeffrey H. Dorman, 47, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born May 5, 1956, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a disabled Navy veteran.

He is survived by his father, Otis Dorman of Addieville, Ill.; his mother, Phyllis Dorman, and two sisters, Stacy Sherrard and Jamie Evans, all of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Roy 'The Whip' Estes

Roy "The Whip" Estes, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Maoran, Texas. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant, an Army veteran and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of the Masons, Shriners and Eastern Star.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; one daughter, Barbara Olson; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Anthony F. Guastella Jr.

Anthony F. Guastella Jr., 78, of Las Vegas died Oct. 31 in Las Vegas. He was born June 4, 1925, in St. Louis. A resident for eight years, he was a retired pool salesman and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Terry Guastella of Las Vegas and Anthony Guastella of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three daughters, Lisa Rodenbucher of Palmdale, Calif., Gina Guastella of Las Vegas and Barbara Ann Guastella of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Joseph Guastella of St. Louis and Angelo Guastella of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

George Guralnik

George Guralnik, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 1, 1919, in Harbin, China. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired routeman for a dry cleaning establishment, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Knights of Pythias and Senior Tripsters and a board member of Las Vegas Senior Center Voluntary Advisor Board and Ms. Senior Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Roberta Leavitt of Westlake Village, Calif.; one son, Ken Guralnik of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ho Chun Lee

Ho Chun Lee, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Seoul, Korea. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired grocery store owner-operator.

He is survived by one son, John Shik Lee of Las Vegas; four daughters, June Younja Park of Las Vegas, Yune Hee Kwon of Fullerton, Calif., and Kwang Ja Kwon and Yune Kyung Jeoung, both of Korea; one brother of Korea; two sisters, one of Korea and one of Japan; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary's chapel, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Hector Perez

Hector Perez, 49, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1954, in Killen, Texas. A resident for 15 years, he was a forensic specialist for the Department of Prisons and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerardo Xavier Perez.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Carey-Perez; his mother, Hilda Perez, and one sister, Anna Robles, both of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Hilario Perez III of Las Vegas and Joseph Perez of Overton.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday at the LDS Sunrise Stake Center, 1825 N. Hollywood Blvd. at Kell Lane. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Patricia H. Peterson

Patricia H. Peterson, 75, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. A resident for seven years, she was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Los Angeles.

She is survived by her husband, Edward A.; one son, Christopher Alveti of Clarksville, Tenn.; one daughter, Linda Sirota of Murrieta, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The services will include a scattering at sea in San Diego. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., handled arrangements.

Robert E. Thurman Sr.

Robert E. Thurman Sr., 67, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 26, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired police sergeant and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J.; three daughters, Romona J. Holmgren of Long Beach, Calif., Nadine A. Williams of Glenwood, Ill., and Cassandra E. Watkiss of Chicago; two sons, Robert E. Thurman Jr. of Homewood, Ill., and Michael A. Thurman of Las Vegas; his parents, Estella Brent of Pasadena, Calif., and Eddie C. Thurman of Chicago; one sister, Janet Buress of Chicago; three brothers, Charles Thurman of Pasadena and Lawrence Brent and George V. Brent, both of California; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Albert Frederick Witmayer

Albert Frederick Witmayer, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A government extramural management specialist, he was born Sept. 26, 1949.

He is survived by his wife, Antonia; two sons, Eric Witmayer and Christian Witmayer; two brothers, Charles Witmayer and George Witmayer; two sisters, Inga Blair and Annie.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Julius Ziboneli

Julius Ziboneli, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 8, 1925, in Romania. A resident for four years, he was a tool maker.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalina Ziboneli of Las Vegas; and one sister, Stephanie Callman of Romania.

Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
