As a Station Casinos team member, I'd like to express my opinion regarding the proposed building of Red Rock Station. I know first-hand that "class" will be of the utmost importance when Station Casinos builds its hotel-casino. This company will do absolutely nothing to undermine the beauty of Red Rock Canyon, nor the community in which it will be located. Green Valley Ranch Station is a testament to that.
I've worked for Station Casinos for more than eight years and have been given the opportunity to grow, as have dozens of other team members throughout this company. It places emphasis on job security for all of its employees. I can remember after Sept. 11 when other hotel-casinos had to lay off a portion of their labor force. That was not the case for Station Casinos. I recall them transferring some team members to their other properties, mainly Green Valley Station, so that jobs would not be lost.
Now this does not sound like a company that does not care about those who reside in the southern Nevada community, nor does it sound like a company that does not care about the community in which it resides.
I am proud to be a member of Station Casinos and wholly support its proposed Red Rock Station.
