CARSON CITY -- An inmate from Clark County, who walked away from the state prison conservation camp in Ely, has been captured, prison officials said today.
David Samaniego-Cerna, 20, was reported missing Oct. 28. He apparently tried to steal a pickup truck belonging to the state Division of Forestry but then fled the camp on foot.
He was found the following day sitting behind a business eating a sandwich.
He had been serving a two to five-year term for driving drunk in Clark County.
