Family festival
Performers Petra, Randy Stonehill, Annie Meadows, ApologetiX, Vance Sheppard, Strange Occurrence, Denise Climente and more will perform at this year's SpiritFest 2003 Family Festival today through Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City. Gaia
International recording artist Gaia will combine singing and sign language at the following libraries Thursday as part of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District's "Super Readers are Superheroes" program:

Amateur night
The Beach is now hosting a "Local Band Night" at 9 p.m. every Thursday at 365 Convention Center Drive. The event is free for both participating bands and patrons. 731-1925.
Theater
'Hello, Dolly!'
The Rosel Seastrand Arts foundation presents "Hello Dolly!" at 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and Monday through Thursday at Cheyenne High School, 3200 W. Alexander Road. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors or students. Proceeds benefit James Seastrand's Helping Hands of North Las Vegas. 649-8853.
'Sleeping Beauty'
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre stages "Sleeping Beauty" at 2 p.m. Sunday, and at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. Tickets are $7 adults, $5 teens and seniors and $3 children 12 and under. 229-6383.
'Garden'
Theatre in the Valley presents Ira Levin's "Dr. Cook's Garden" at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Tickets are $12 general, $10 for seniors and students and $6 for children. 558-7275.
